In this video I will be reviewing the BEAR baby food maker, one step baby food processor, steamer, and purée blender. While looking for the easiest way to feed my 3 month old delicious and Nutritious meals I came across this food maker. After comparing it to the beloved baby Beaba food maker this was clearly a winner. It was so easy to make the baby food, I especially loved the one touch auto food maker feature which allowed me to set it and forget!! Hope you enjoyed this video!!

Two years ago when I started this channel it was to create homemade baby food for my twins whom at the time were NICU babies on oxygen tanks, (fun times). My goal then was to show other mommies, daddies how easy it is to create baby food not to mention the nutritional benefits. Well they’re all grown up now and are healthy eaters (Thank God). I would like to think because introducing them to different fruits and veggies at an early age encourages that.
This time again I’m back and doing the same for baby girl. I’m hoping to create daily vlogs to show a bit of my life since then; cooking, cleaning, so on. Join me on this journey in hopes to exchange some tips and tricks on parenting and beyond.

Very helpful video, thank you! One question, can you just steam food in here without blending it? For example if I just wanted to make steamed sweet potatoes but not puree?
Yes you can!! There a steam button, and works great! Since I stop using for my baby that almost a year old I now use it to steam our veggies, works great!!! 😊🙃
Hi. Love your video. Very informative. But how do you clean it? I noticed it has a self clean feature. Is it recommended to use that over washing it with dish soap and warm water ?
Yes it has a self clean feature which I do use and it’s dishwasher safe!! 😊☺️

When your child is done with purées do you plan on keeping it for other things or gifting it? I had to buy a spare since my baby breeze lid broke.
Yesssss! My girl is 13 months and I still use it, steam diced veggies for sides, I’ve even made purée sweet potatoes as dinner sides too

Maybe a silly question. How do you get the puree thicker? I’ve only made 1 banana so far and the consistency is perfect for right now but how to I go about making the purées thicker for the future. Less steam time? More food in it with the same amount of time

I was watching to see the blend happen and then it cut to completely made. That would have helped me. Add the blend & cut the music put back in your talking.

Can we only steam the food without blending?
Yes you can, add your fruits/veggie in the container diced, then hit the steam feature and set timer! Your good to go!! 🙂🙃
Do you do self clean before first use ? Or we do hand wash ?
I did both just to be safe
Do you have to cook the meat then put it in the machine? Or just throw in the raw meat and it cooks in the machine?
If you cut the food into smaller than 1 inch how could I fix this? Could I simply add more food in it?
On the blender container there is a max food line, so according to the instructions all food must be cut down to an inch thick in order for everything to be steamed and blended properly.
I'm 55 and thinking of getting one for myself as I pretty much live off soup. Can't eat solids. I was curious have you tried a bit of meat and if so how did it do with mixing it up?
Yes recently my baby turned 6 months so I slowly started introducing meat to her diet. I can tell you there is a neat feature and it works really well. I’ve put in a small piece of raw meat and also tried cooked meats personally I don’t see the difference in the outcome. As per the instructions you can add raw meats and fish to your dishes so yes I have and yes it works great.
Can you make a green veggie video. I want to see how smooth they get
Can we cook rice with this brand???

Just got one, when do I stop offering Puree food to my baby, shes 7mos now.
In my experience with my three kids I stopped once they no longer want it. So really the kids will tell you when their over the purée stage. 🙃☺️
Are you able to change the settings to get different consistencies?
Great question, I think if you adjust the timer but I have found that it undercooks the fruit/veggies, so not too sure

I have followed the steps and mine doesn't seem to be working, not sure what I'm doing wrong
Could I just use a regular blender
Oh absolutely the reason I like this food processor is because it steams, blends the food all in one, so really it’s a hassle free way to cook your baby food and go do other things which to me as a busy parent is a win.

The reason I asked is only because I kept seeing all different kinds on Amazon and none had a solid good reviews it seemed like every one has some dirt of issue including this one but I think it’d be well worth it

Sorry to hear, check to see if the basket it put into place and the water reservoir is on correctly, it happen to me the first time too.
See if the lid or cup is all the way on. It won’t turn on if it’s not
Can you steam raw meat and vegetables together?
Yes mam you surely can, it even says it in the Manuel guide that comes with the machine.

I did ground beef in it and it turned out way too watery… what did I do wrong?
Did you add it raw? Was it was any veggies? Maybe consider putting less water and adding a starchy veggie. With these machines you have to play around with it a bit to get the results your wanting. Hope that helps

Can you use breastmilk instead of water?
Yes of course
When using breast milk it must be eaten after prep rather than stored as the breast milk will be heated.
I absolutely love my bear. I have a ninja blender also so I am able to prep fruits and veggies at the same time.
