now thats a massive bruiser of a boar! Those collies do a great job of bailing up. Whats even more amazing is how you prove that you don't always need a big bang stick to get the job done. There is something special about that old 22 of yours
Nice Hog! Bet you get a lot of bacon off of it. I love your speech at the end of the video. And you are 100 percent right. I hope people wake up sooner than later. Cheers!
Thank you for the video I always enjoy them I enjoy watching the dogs. You are very correct about the way people are nowadays everybody wants but nobody wants to do
Morning Clark!!! A dog and a big boar!!! I'd say that's a FINE finish to your week!! Love seeing the big country you work in as well as your trusty companions, Brandon, Skunk and Robby... they're wonderful!!! You're correct about the state of our world... everyone needs to get their head on straight and become COMMUNITY'S again instead of all the b.s. in-fighting... those who WISH to remain in power WANT US DIVIDED!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!! as soon as more people realize this ploy, we will have the lives we were meant to have!!!! Safe travels, friend ❤️❤️ Stay FROSTY... Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel... 🇺🇸🇦🇮WWG1WGA🇺🇸🇦🇮NCSWIC🇺🇸🇦🇮
Fantastic video Clark! As I've said before, you speak from the heart about so many global issues, and you always hit the nail right on the head my friend! All the very very best to you and yours Clark! Keep up the superb work mate, and Good Hunting. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼🇦🇺🏴Hooroo, Stevie.
Many thanks Clark for allowing us to travel on your final day on that property. Seldom do even Australian citizens get a chance to embrace the beauty of our own backyard. Glorious is the only expression when the outback gets a watering. Your philosophy ought to be printed and encouraged to be distributed in all our schools. Hard yacker and responsibility even offered to mutts has a hard edge of reality that many ought to adopt to make life worthwhile instead of whining. Stay well mate and look forward to the next gig?!
Exactly. Recently saw our local communications crew parked on top of a patch of recently sprayed GRT grass, walking through it etc, then driving into the next property without a thought.
Your title is a truism in life as well, in all situations and circumstances. Thanks for the great vids Clark, your alternate to the ‘progressive’ negative narrative/victimology and your good work in the rangelands.
Clark could not agree more with your comment. I was brought up to be responsible for myself, family, wife and children. Give help to others, but expect them to try their best too. JFK perhaps said it best, " don't ask what my country can do for me, instead ask what I can do for my country". The voice debate is so divisive. First Nations don't need a VOICE, they need a mirror to see, reflect and act on their problems. Soft left elites will not fix for them but will screw it for the middle of the road Aussie society. Thanks for your great content. David
Thanks so much for these videos. I just love watching you and the dogs at it. You are right about the world stage. The forces of control are certainly doing their best. I suppose that makes me a conspiracy person. At least I have the winkers off! Makes me sad when I think of my family, seven in all and all front line troops, who fought so hard for this joint. Boer War, Gallipoli, France, Greece and Crete, Tobruk, El Alamein, New Guinea and Korea. I think my family have done enough, but that old saying "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance" is so true. No rest for the wicked! Anyway Clarke, take care and thanks for showing us all your bush skills. You are the old Australia I grew up with.
Respect to you family. Ours did their share as well. World domination is not a new concept and certainly not a conspiracy theory, more like a fact of human nature. Hold strong.
Just goes to show how important bullet placement is on a piggy when using a light cartridge. I have heard of bullets exploding on the mud crust, especially with high velocity rounds, but never seen it as shown.
You're doing a great service my friend! Wow.. all you do to be a good steward of the land. What you do to just you vehicle is amazing! Keep on keeping on! I'd love a chance at helping with the trapline! Watching from the USA 🇺🇸
Your correct Clark, they want freedoms and give the government more power and control everyday. My family has fought in every conflict in the United States armed forces since 1776. I’m so infuriated at my fellow Americans for not standing up and putting it on the line for the freedoms we’ve fought for and enjoyed since the inception of the country. It’s way past time to set this straight and restore our nation for posterity. If we could get strong leadership and a rally time and point I’m ready to bleed for my grandchildren s freedoms and security of need be.
You nailed it. We must hold faith that our own people will wake up soon enough to avoid at least some of the turmoil that is ahead but faith is not enough, we must encourage, inspire and set an example
Thanks Clark...Really appreciate you and the crew...Agree with your thoughts on the silent majority who are happy to leave things to other folks...Cheers from Sydney town mate.
Great vlog Clarkie mate. It's great that you've shown people your bio-security methods on your truck. I've worked in agriculture and have had to adhere to some pretty strict bio-security rules in the past. It would be great if you could go into it in more depth and detail for those who don't know the why's, wherefores, and how's. Keep up the great work matey. Peace out from the UK.
Most don’t even bitch and whinge. They don’t even know what’s happening and how dire things are. We in big trouble but until then I love your channel. Thx 👍
Hey mate I enjoy your content and some of your wisdom any man who treats his dogs with respect is an ok bloke imo I went camping on a riverbank in central Queensland with a mate and we got no fish but long story short there were heaps of rabbits and we wondered about the legalities of catching and eating them. We both have no guns or licenses.
Complex but not a reason to leave subterranean chicken outside the pot. Was it freehold country,? was it road reserve?, cannot use snares, animal cruelty laws etc all need to be considered.
Thanks for your videos Clark. Your comments about the direction society is taking are very true. People have left faith, good values and common sense. These have been replaced with warped perspectives and terrible values. Unfortunately many of our political leaders are the worst examples.
starts with "snack packs", then a pig flipped a trap and a dog lying down near a log, now a dead dog. then wet ground, now checking a dam...... a big boar on the track, now a dead boar. all less than 8:00 mins. Busy times? Thanks Clark. always interesting😊
I so wish i could just say Off off when my boy gets into a fight with his house mates. Hes kind to all other creatures but his house mates maybe i should get him into some energy dispersal like this lol. Good job thanks for eradicating the nasties
Sure, you've heard it, "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times." Remaining strong men have to make a difference
Hey Clark, just getting into trapping and i watched a video of yours and you boiled your traps in water and black wattle i think it was, is there other types of trees you can use the leaves of to do the same job? I have a couple traps in the dirt and i caught a fox sniffing a trap on camera, so im guessing ive left my scent or a scent it didnt like too much as it was wary of getting too close I notice you use lure as well, is it worth buying? I use my own dog poo at the moment, just curious about the lures
Mornin, most of the wattles have usable tannin in them. I find that you can boil the leaves for a while and they appear to do little, then they will release and the leaves turn brown as the water blackens. Most trapping suppliers carry good trap wax which is easier but when you run out, try what you can. Hang your traps to air dry and try to handle by the end of the chain when you pack them. Remember, humans are stinky buggers, our scent falls from us every second even if you wear gloves and it is often that smell, sweat or skin flakes etc that a dog or fox will pick up on or simply the newly turned earth. Develop a range of lures, record even set, what you use, what results, time of year, weather etc and soon the lures that suit you best will emerge. Often it is how you use a lure rather than which lure that brings success. If you place a lure higher, it often gets the dog to keep its nose off the trap site, other times it allows them to sniff the lure and stay away. Trial and error, record, repeat, improve.
I’m hearing ya Clark . I’m well into my 60’s now and over the last 10 years or so I must say that I really fear for future generations. No accountability or lack of it and this attitude of “not my problem or not my fault “ We grew up in another time and I’m kinda glad I did.
Well said Clark, I totally agree with you, unfortunately this generation belongs to the entitled generation , if only they new what a wonderful world we live in (especially Australia) I'm from the West.
Ol’ Robbi loves pigs. He was excited. It’s amazing how the dogs are so quick and smart to not get gored or injured by the pigs. Good day on the line.
Thanks for having us along Clark
Keep up the good work mate your right on the mark
Occasionally, I buy steaks in the supermarket here in Canada marked:
"Grass fed, from Australia"
This channel shows me where the beef was raised.

Highlight of my Tuesday night . You’d get my vote for PM mate
To take a political post appears to require some serious brown-nosing or if you don't, being attacked from every angle for your every move or opinion.
Minnesota Rancher. Smart like hammer. Love it!
Thank you for the video I always enjoy them I enjoy watching the dogs. You are very correct about the way people are nowadays everybody wants but nobody wants to do

To be able to accompany you on one of your traplines for a day or two would be amazing.
Watching from Wales enjoying the programme
Love your videos, Clark. I look forward to them every Tuesday. Greetings from Adelaide.
Thanks for documenting your day to day Clark.

Exactly. Recently saw our local communications crew parked on top of a patch of recently sprayed GRT grass, walking through it etc, then driving into the next property without a thought.
Always interesting, I fully agree with your comment about trapping , and the effects it could have if not controlled,.
'biting mud' a new idea for your dog!
Man that .22 is a fine piece of gear!
Your block looks nice after a bit of rain mate.
Great job Clark, keep up the good work.

Top video, brings back a lot of memories.
I'm an oldie Brit, but completely agree with you. Everyone thinks they are entitled to whatever they want in that particular moment. Kids!
Another great video. 👍🏽👍🏽

Nice work Clark 👍🏻
So agree Clark, things are not there for the taking, they have to be earned.

the freedom in our Australian countryside.
Sorry to hear that. Hang in there.
Well said Clark

Smarter not harder!
Good job mate👍🐗
A good place to stop. Great message also.
Hey mate I enjoy your content and some of your wisdom any man who treats his dogs with respect is an ok bloke imo

@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry thanks mate. What is your solution if any to the Fraser Island issue with dingos?
Thanks for your videos Clark. Your comments about the direction society is taking are very true. People have left faith, good values and common sense. These have been replaced with warped perspectives and terrible values. Unfortunately many of our political leaders are the worst examples.
You are dead right about 'common sense' - deceptively uncommon... Job right... done right!!
You and the lads have grand adventures... be well.
What kind of dogs are down. I know they have border collie in them but what are they cost with the other two. I love the way they were baying

Wise words bud.
You hit it on the head Clarky thay just don't to take restorability any more the kids of today
Your right Clark the younger generation think they are so entitled and want to go straight to the top and not do any of the hard yards 😢
Sure, you've heard it, "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times." Remaining strong men have to make a difference
Great dogs ma8
6 dogs, 1 cat and 'x' pigs.. 🌟🌟😊
A windscreen and racing seats, no wonder you're smiling. 😅
Flash as now bro!!
How many dogs do you have with you
Brandon wants an ice-cream
I don’t know if you know where dropkick comes from.it’s rhyming slang.
Dropkick is a punt, what rhymes with punt?
Brandon is a great dog.

So true. Don't give up on the younger generations. Lead, set the example, inspire, encourage and have faith in your stance
Next generation is doing better than everyone before. Just differently - sometime change is hard to accept
❤
Clark, you showed a map on your phone. What mapping app do you use? Why did you choose that particular app?
Avenza is the app I use but there are others just as good. Started using it, found it worked, stuck with it
Is the source of these wild dogs from the non-pastoral areas?
Yes and no. Often from SF areas close to cattle country or fringe smaller acreage blocks
Just wondering what bread are you're dogs ?
1/32nd Australian Koolie within Scott Lithgow lines of pure Border Collie from close to 40 years of breeding for this style of dog
Dogs are like their owners mate… mines crazy
Hi Clark, good onya knock them on the head, Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia
Well said Clark, I totally agree with you, unfortunately this generation belongs to the entitled generation , if only they new what a wonderful world we live in (especially Australia) I'm from the West.
What boots do you wear?
Just bought some Hanwag boots, simply awesome. Lowas have served me well also
That Brandon...
that was a whole lot of pig
