Nicely made. Thinking about the CRF, coming from F800GS. Why, lighter and these mods makes it nicer to own. Totally agree with you're reasoning with the Rally.
Thanks!🙏 I only have experience with this particular bike, but I'm really enjoying it. I sometimes already struggle to get this bike back up on the trails after a crash so can imagine an F800GS would be even worse. I would try to get a 300L over the 250L if I were you, since you get a little more power with virtually no extra weight.
Thanks. Your video was very helpful. Especially the reason why you went with the L instead of the Rally. It was the same reasons I decided on the L, I'm a beginner so will be crashing alot 😂.
Good video, thank you. On my 250L I also use the same Samsung Active Tab with OSMAND. But I use an inexpensive screen that works perfect and it has a bar for mounting the tablet up high, and I use an LED bulb in the standard headlight.
I actually think I know which screen you mean - I think I’ve seen ‘m all by now😂 - it’s very similar or identical to the Zeta one, right? That was indeed a pretty solid low budget option. I thought about recommending that over the AS Mini Fairing, but wasn’t sure about the mounting versatility. Good to know that works and a good tip for everyone looking for a budget solution! Thanks🙏
Very interesting. I have an L adventure bike for regular trips to Morocco. I looked at screens but never bought one. I may buy this one though. Thanks for the information.

It won’t, only thing that you might break is the windshield, the rest of the tower is so compact that you’d really have to land upside down for it to touch the ground. It’s a solid setup. Even after weeks of daily commutes on the highway with lots of vibration, this tower sits like a rock.
Liked and subbed. I can understand you easily (better than my neighbors in NJ) and you don't dick around with BS. How is the robustness of this tower? Since it is using 3D printed parts, personally I wouldn't trust it to hold up in (m)any crashes. Also how does it affect steering? Since the tower is added to the parts that turn with the handlebars/wheel, does it add any weight to how the bike handles? This is different from how the Rally is where the tower mounts from the frame of the bike.
The robustness is actually very good and in my experience there's no noticeable difference in steering. The tower is heavier than the stock headlight, but not that much. It's also mounted very firmly to the bike. It has special break brackets to limit damage in case of a crash. As you can see later on in the video, those work exactly as advertised. A bonus is that every part can be replaced separately, so if something breaks it can be easily fixed and One Adventure is pretty chill with spare parts. Watch the end of the video because I cover these questions quite in depth - as in: I crashed my bike and show you the damage 😉
Hi Mike, I've got it from One Adventure, they make them theirselves. It costs €25. Quickest way to reach them is through Instagram, the handle is @oneadventureoffroad. Good luck!
@@FineLine-Media because it needs a "ABE" or an "E" Number. Like the windshield and the lights. I don't know how it is with the mounting hardware. But yeah... thats kind of the problem here. I mean, my headlamp is broken and a new one costs around 500€ here and 200€ in your county. so it wouldn't be that much higher. Oh, and btw... I have the MD38. So the light HAS to have a Parkinglight in it. The blinkers don't glow the whole time. So that would be the next problem. And IF I change it, when I get pulled over by the police, they can stop me there and wouldn't allow the ride that bike, until I change it back. So no real way :/

@@FineLine-Media thanks a lot, that's exactly my doubt, how it's with stock gearing in highway? Did you change the gearing for lower rpm in highway or better down torque off-road? Thanks, sorry for bothering you with so many questions
@@Sr.D no worries, happy to help. I went up 3 teeth in the rear, from 14-40 to 14-43, for more torque down low offroad.
