- There are a bunch of guys entering the final year of their deal or facing a situation that could make this the last year of their deal. Tre Brown, Michael Jackson, Julian Love, K'Von Wallace, Tyrel Dodson, Jerome Baker, Artie Burns, Jarran Reed, and Laviska Shenault are all in the last year of their contracts. Geno Smith and Tyler Lockett could be if the team does not decide to extend them.
Who are the best bets to stick around? Who are maybe playing their only or final year as a Seahawk? All discussed in this episode of HB Mornings.

DK is still 26, he’ll turn 27 forwards the end of the season. Deebo is about to be 30, Brandon Aiyuk is 26 and is looking at his first contract. You keep players like DK.
Brian a few times now you've said DK is 27. He won't be 27 til basically xmas. Nitpicky? Sure. But i think it matters in considering how much more time he has when viewed against Kupp, adams, even hill.
I think it’s pretty clear how they really feel about dk. They’ll do the opposite for lockett
Hey Brian, Happy birthday Tuesday, I share that same birthday, same day same month same year, happy 49th!
Thanks, Paul! Happy Birthday to you as well!
I got really irritated this evening trying to park in the church parking lot but had to wait for the four cars in front of us to back in. What's the point??
How many of them were Tesla’s?
As a guy who drives a truck ( and has to do actual truck things) I hate watching truck guys back in. Hack: find a spot to drive through so you can pull out of your spot AND not look like it's the first time you have ever been behind the wheel of your rig.
I love Hawkblogger Mornings. 🙂
Thanks, Matt!
Wait until you are 70. I walked three miles yesterday and can feel it.
Oy. I believe it.
Buy a wheeled sled (with magnetic resistance) for push and pull. Start sprinting again.. your knees and Achilles will thank you
All of Eskridge’s kick return credibility is stemming from one play… hope he can make an impact for us.
I don’t think John or anyone wanna overly go to Howell. Play him one year and pay him ? I don’t think he is worth that there isn’t enough rookie contract time to be worth it.
I don't agree often with you but on this completely agree. If geno balls out and I hope he does what's howells worth? A few million as a backup. I'd rather just consider using a fourth or fifth and saving money moving forward.
@@iron_bison I think plan A is hoping Geno plays better under grubb and he takes a team friendly deal to retire as a Seahawk
@@alginvestmentllc7638interesting prediction. Could very well see that.
lol Evan’s rubbing off on the crew but I think it should be fine for monetization since it wasn’t excessive or aggressive and was at the end of the video.
How are the Seahawks so over the cap next year? Weird
Because cap management is John's kryptonite. I like John but he's not good at predicting player markets. He didn't see edge rush markets with Clark. He didn't see the safety market was cratering. And he can't see that if average dlinemen are getting paid Guards are going to get paid as well.
DKs not even 27 like you keep sayin and wont be until over halfway through the season
It is totally way too early to talk about 2025, so I passed on this too long video.
