I ordered on last Saturday and I recieved it this Saturday In Kuala Lumpur Malaysia via express Australian post. It works like a dream. It tricks the motor into believing you are travelling at only half the actual speed, so the motor assist goes beyond the limit of 27km/h. The only thing is your battery life is shorter as its almost on all the time. On a full battery charge I got only 75km when without this I could go 130km. I was on eco mode all the time. Hence one needs to plan the route well. I have a battery extender and I reckon I can get an extra 30km. I hope this thing lasts. Thanks guys! Kodos. I now have the best upgrade on my ebike!
Hi Abdullah, i am getting my Creo SL E-Bike soon once MCO is over. I plan to buy the unlock chip, can u inform me where can I install the unlock chip in KL or Selangor ? Thanks
Great instruction. Thanks. I just installed one on my VADO 4.0 SL. The only thing difference on the VADO is that the Motor doesn’t rotate out as far is in this video. Not much at all. I had to use thin pliers to gently remove the plug and the reconnect the other plug. The arrow on the device lines up facing out. Thanks again.
I also have vado 4.0 sl. how is the chip working for you so far. does it used up the battery as lot quicker? and have you had any issues with the motor or any other problems?
@@rsh6373 it’s been great. You don’t even know it’s there except your Speedometer will read all speeds at 50% of actual. Your battery consumption is still based on how far you ride and what level you have it set. PS I installed the newer version which slots into the small control panel as I have a new Vado 4. I moved country and couldn’t ship my earlier bike due to the batteries. It had the chip installed thru the hub.
Hi. this is amazing product i been looking for, but i was wonder how would this affect the longevity of the motor? was the restriction to preserve the motor or just simply country regulations? Thanks!
Is this how Specialized adjust the assistance speed limit compared to USA & UK for instance i.e. is it a standard fitting by Specialized on USA bikes and for export to UK they remove it? Or is it a factory software adjustmanet at time of assembly? Thanks for any info.
Hi Thinking of getting a Creo and your unlock device soon but was wondering if I could still use my Garmin edge 1030 with it. Would my Garmin device still read the correct mph and miles (distance travelled) etc Thanks in advance
Hi Lee, If the Garmin reads data from the specialized bike it will no longer be correct after unlocking, If the data is from a GPS source then it would be fine.
Hi I live in Canada and I have the Turbo Creo SL Comp E5 with the latest update. Our limit is 32kms here......what will this do for us Canadians with speed ? Will it work regardless of the firmware the Creo is running? Many thanks
What you really need is to be able to set your own speed limit. 20-28 mph would be perfect that way you don’t use up all your battery over heat your motor and completely lose your warranty 🤭

Turn the speed down to 20mph that’s fast enough on mtb trails
It will save the battery 🔋
Off course you are going to get less miles because you are going faster just like a car you go fast you get less miles. Common sense
@@capicapuchino5675 Fewer, not less. Common sense.

Can I still use the delimiter if I take out the main battery for travel and run off the auxiliary battery (in bottle cage)?
As long as the bike powers on and rides normally with the auxiliary battery I don't see a problem with it working with the chip installed
