That guy is the best part of your videos. A great character. The most natural. And he rides a steel bike. Give him a leading role if you want viewer success.
The Ø in Styrkeprøven is like the sound after the B (and before the R) in the english word: Burn. So Fernwee, you WIN! What was the temperature on this ride?
For winter rides I use my old Shimano shoes with heated insoles from Aliexpress (22 euro) and Rockbros shoe covers (6 euro). The heated insoles come with a remote so I can control the heat during the ride. For me this is the perfect solution. Why spend 200 euro on road shoes that get dirty anyway...
Hi, with the Fizik winter shoe - is it 100% rain proof? It doesn't get that cold in australia but I want one that will keep my feet dry when its raining heavily!
Does your friend on the vintage Colnago have trouble keeping up? I'm always worried about getting smashed on my vintage Binachi at a group ride... Great video BTW
LOVE the vids, Martijn. Good to see Tijmen joining in "fun". I'm going to have to see about getting some Magistrale Coffee sent to Texas. On another note, how are the Ere tires? Did you use them for the road or your gravel setup?
Are you happy with the winter shoes? I have the same model but find that they leak around the ankles during epic rain. Love your videos by the way. Good luck for 2019!
Tbh I haven't ridden them through epic rain yet (lucky me), so so far I'm very happy with them. Perhaps you could try some kind of velotoze-solution to make sure no rain enters the top of the shoe?
I've worn them in the rain but not heavy rain, I'm really happy so far - they do keep you toasty and for me at least dry. I may should've down-sized a bit, I now wear them with thicker socks, which is unnecessary around 0°C and almost too warm on a sunny 4-6°C day. I also wear the Salomon Hybrid pants (made for trail running, and yet my best pants on the bike) to cover the ankle, maybe that's why they don't leak.
@@Fernwee Hi, follow up to the waterproofing of the Artica R5s. I tried your suggestion of using some Velotoze with them today in very wet conditions. Feet were bone dry after the ride. Thanks for the tip.
complaining about being cold and no mudguards on any of the bikes....wannabe pro's who wannabe cold. Seems fashion is more important than good sense here.

Great video. Can I ask what camera equipment you use and how you carry it please?
That brake noise is obviously universal in wet weather... 😆...

Do you guys all speak English for the video, or do you speak your native language when not videoing? Just curious. Cheers.
We only speak English for the videos, unless there's a non-Dutch speaking person around of course.
