Thank you for this tutorial. I had 1 reflector out for a few months, then suddenly 4 more dropped. I followed your instructions and the repair worked perfectly. It took me a little under 2 hours, including prep time (clearing a space, protecting the surface, getting my tools, etc.) and waiting about 1/2 hour to let the glue dry before I put everything back together. (Good time for a lunch break.) I highly recommend labeling each screw hole and storing different screws in different containers. I had 4 different types of screws. My frame came off a little different - it did not have screws around the perimeter, but had little clips. Those were a bit difficult, as you'd get one side unclipped, then it would clip back together while working on the opposite sides. I finally slid thin envelopes between the frame and glass as I unclipped each corner. That worked.

I repaired my TV and used Selleys All Clear (In Australia). Will report back how long it lasts. Be aware that the screen is aligned in the factory by robots and there is nothing that actually aligns it in the frame, It is just held in place by the rubber. So my handy tip, which I wish I'd thought of BEFORE I chipped the screen is to put masking tape on the four sides of the screen and frame BEFORE you pull it apart so that the screen keeps its position when you pull it apart :)
I mean unless you have a follow up video you didn't show me how to do anything after I removed them do I replace them or will it be ok if I just leave the bulbs out and put it back on or do I need new parts

Improper fixing. If you find some marking/projection at the top edge of reflectors, it should remain in particular direction. This direction can be determined by observing other unfallen ones.
No issue directly with TV. Dots are pertaining to led lights only (they appear when cap on bulb falls, which are there to spread light on the panel). TV display will go off, only sound will be there if any led bulb fuses, then you need to replace led strips set.

If you think that an ordinary unqualified person could take a high tech TV apart with all its complicated circuitry and multiple component , then put it all back together, then you must be out of your mind. A fully qualified electronical engineer will have problems performing that strip down. I wonder how many of those gushing at your skills have actually followed your instructions and performed that "surgery" on their own TV. 😂🤣😂🤣
It's not nearly as difficult as the "qualified" repair people say. Don't be intimidated. I'm 62 yo and have fixed 2 Samsung Smart TVs. One I had to replace the entire LED strips (ebay) and one I replied 4 diffusers

Just glue up the fallen reflectors (better to glue all) and assemble the TV. It is done.
Tbh this was a super simple fix, it was the getting to it that takes forever. Hahaha, I might just try this before taking it to a repair shop.

You can watch your TV. No issue. Only some white spots will be there on the screen.

Use an epoxy that dries clear, I used E6000 but next time I’d use something thinner

No. Not the lights. Leds are covered with transparent cap type reflectors, which are there to spread up the light.

I reattached all the reflectors back but now the spots arent as bright as before but they are all still visible
