if you think about it the eight house is sort of the house of where the truth of things gets discovered, and in my own developing opinion where true spirituality can be found. the ninth house represents the religions which everybody pretty much readily accepts, but in reality religions are not real. Even though there are some sacred truths in religion, most of it is largely inaccurate, misinterpreted or unnecessary information. So with that being said subjects like astrology, numerology and others like it are the real Accurate TRUTHS, tools, and information of the universe. These subjects are all true and are 8th house things, so in my developing opinion the 8th house is gonna tell you whats real, or the bare bones of something or like whats at play on the deepest or deeper level. It probably will give you the full picture of the truth or a big piece of the working of it on deeper levels.
yes, 8th house will reveal the flaws and weaknesses in things, but the 9th is not just religion and dogma, it is also the natural goodness and morals that are true.

this method is nonsense. The 4th (mother) is the death of the 5th (children). Stick to the four cardinal directions and you wont have such a mud-puddle understanding of your astrology basics.

I find it weird when you say that the "8th house erodes the west" because the movement of the skyis on the opposite direction. The 8th house is a succedant house, it leads to the west. The 6th is cadent, it falls from the west.
it is the low atmosphere above the western horizon, as the 12th is for the eastern horizon. it signifies the weather in the low atmosphere. These houses "weather" ("erode", "evaporate", etc) the houses below them.

Thanks! My first house lord (venus) is in the 11th house, making aspect to my 8th house, which contains moon, mars, and south node. My 7th house ruler is mars of course. I would say there has always been a very intense sexual theme throughout my entire life, and the way that is expressed in my life has went through extreme transformations, like different phases. Hard to explain without revealing too much.. lol

Saturn exalt in libra, so he must be significator of relationship then why we take venus...? Sun is your individuality that's why it debilitated in libra- Libra is the sign of cooperation, aligning, sun being an individual planet doesn't feel comfortable in expressing them among common people (natural seventh house) hence he separate himself from it(Aries). We don't take sign ruler to represent the planet significance but we look what planet represent being in its exaltation and debilitation if you understand this astrology become easy for you.
