Wow that is a long way! You are the first person to ask for a larger scale as I suspect hardly anyone flies at such a distance. I don't know how much work it will take to add another map scale, I will mention it to Dave but at the moment he is very busy working on the next great app!
Another star video from Harry. I followed the video step by step and in parallel did as instructed, and it all works great. My laptop had a hiccup when trying to fetch the app prior to loading to the tx, and this was cured by shutting down the laptop and restarting. All went perfectly then. Glad Harry had fun doing this, he has done us a huge service helping develop the app and creating the video. And naturally, thanks to Dave for writing the app! Amazing.
Hi Harry, perfect application. Everything works without problems thanks to the instructional video. The only thing I can't do yet is to add more maps, I only see one in the application. If I create a new map of another place, there is only the new one and the original older one is not. What can I do wrong? In the tutorial video, it's not clear enough for me how to save more and more maps. Thank you very much in advance for the explanation.
We have had a few pilots report an issue reading GPS speed (but reading altitude and lat/long just fine...) from the SM Modellbau GPS sensor. I have no way to contact folks on this platform to try to understand the issue .. but I did go look it up and it looks like a really really nice device, so I have one on order and we'll get it sorted out asap and properly supported.
Harry, I can not thank you enough for helping me through the wold of Jeti! Interesting issue here, my gps thinks I am about 50 km away from my actual location, so of course no maps load. Any ideas?
Hello Harry, Is there a possibility to watch my flights later? Like at the evening at home after a day of flying to see and check where I have flown? It seems like that we "just" can see what we have flown during or directly after the flight. Sebastian

It was public on your LUA Apps Playlist, Episode 1 and 3 were listed at the end of the playlist. It seems that I can still access the video by replying to you, once you figure out the glitch, let me know and I will delete this message.
I added them to the playlist, getting ready to publish them. It turns out that they are visible in a playlist even though they are "unlisted". I have removed them from the playlist and will add all 3 episodes back into the playlist when I publish them
Now that I have stayed awake throughout the video everything has worked out but I do have 0ne more question. I am running this on a fairly new DS24, I am finding that the maps on the Tx are a lot more washed out than what you show in your video. Are there some adjustments I am missing that will improve this? Would be nice if Jeti bought high resolution screens from Apple!

Harry When I open the Jeti-studio on my Mac I only have open log file, close log file, export log file greyed out and reset toolbar. No configuration???
Harry not quite......when I open the Lua App Manager i get a Error message that says An error has occurred while downloading Lua-apps list. Try again later. Error message: Error creating SSL context 0. I do not know if this is a blocking by Nortons or something else??
Hello Harry. First of all thank you for these excellent videos which allow me to go deeper into my radio. I have a question: Being French I would like to have the voice messages in French ... I spotted where they were in the application. If I save them in French and keep the same file name, that shouldn't be a problem. Do you agree? Regards. Pascal
That sounds to me like it should work. Be sure to copy the existing files somewhere else so that you can restore them if something goes wrong. I am not sure if your files will be overwritten with the English files in an update, I do not think they will but you should keep a copy of your French files just in case you need to restore them after an update! Dave can enable language support so that you can have the menus in French but we do not do it by default because we would have to use google translate to get the words to use and google translate can make mistakes with technical words. It needs a fluent speaker, like yourself to tell us the correct words to use in the menus. If you feel able to do that and give us the voice files, Dave can release a French version of the app.
Hi Pascal, Dave has added a readme file to the development version of the app (in the lang folder) that explains which files he needs translations for....

Buy a new GPS that works! Have you any clue why your GPS is faulty? What brand is it?

Try adjusting your backlight settings - at the home screen press the Tools button
