This can't fill the void she made in me. Her voice on call. Her soft skin gently touching my hand while we talk in the car for hours. Her smile and laugh. Her cute, adorable and admirable face. I reminisce of the times when I would drop her off at her house at 1am and were hug for 20 minutes just small talking into each other's ears. My sister told me that she told her that she can't physically love someone right now even if she wanted to. My sister and her and good friends even to this day. She told her that she won't ever find a person like me. I want to apologize to you Frida. That I couldn't see the pain in your eyes, that you would hide all of your pain, worries, burdens, and sorrows. She told me all of the fucked up things that her previous exs did to her. She was alienated when I wanted to give her genuine affection and love towards her. I told her that I was planning a date to go to the aquarium. She was super excited to go. She then asked me why was I being so good to her. I told her that it's the least I could do for her. Becuase I loved her. She told me that no one has ever treated her so kindly. What really broke me was that I wasn't able to show her the great and gorgeous things that the love she was never given. The affection, admration, and the trust.

There's no way you hate winter holidays, right? That would be heartless, I think. As for the SWTK, I think you know the answer to that. I even listened to your first 💕 pillowlap 💕 audio again a few days ago. I think I needed something to cheer me up. As for the book, I think I reached the point where so many ideas have been presented such that I lost track of the big picture. But I can at least think about it on a micro level. From what I understand, the brain is usually in system 1, which is basically a low effort mode to handle the easiest or most immediate tasks. When that's not enough, it switches to system 2. Eventually systen 1 can adapt and can perform tasks that were previously reserved for system 2. I guess that's what happens when professors can't fathom that their students can't easily follow along. Sadly, I suppose the opposite also holds. I once heard the brain has three modes. One is for passive consumption and the other two are for thinking more in-depth. I forgot the details, though. Some people spend a lot of time on social media scrolling through pictures or whatever. Of course, you hardly need your brain to decide whether something is interesting after looking at it for a second. For children whose brains are still developing, that apparently can cause long-term issues with attention spans and focus. I don't know how compatible the two systems and three modes are, though, and I didn't find the source for the latter. PS: About what you wrote about perfectionism, I think that's not a trait worth eradicating entirely. I consider myself a bit perfectionistic, but probably not as much as you. The strive for perfection usually entails ambition, right? And ambition immediately makes someone much more interesting, I think. So maybe there's a way to keep that without it being a huge burden. Good night.

This can't fill the void she made in me. Her voice on call. Her soft skin gently touching my hand while we talk in the car for hours. Her smile and laugh. Her cute, adorable and admirable face. I reminisce of the times when I would drop her off at her house at 1am and were hug for 20 minutes just small talking into each other's ears. Her hands rubbing down my back as I do the same when we say our farewells for the night. She was something to me. From: "I'm so unbelievably grateful to the world for leading me towards you. However: I admit, I was being selfish for her. I knew things were going too fast. But I just didn't want to let her go. She wanted to take some time away after her previous boyfriend. Being manipulated, degraded. They were horrible towards her. She told me if I were to ever leave her, she would genuinely feel heartbroken. Things were going too fast, she wants to be with me but her past trauma, past relationships, and family issues are all taking a toll onto her. So, she wanted to break off the romantic relationship a month in before it gets any worse with her mental health. I knew it was for the better of both of us. But mostly for her. She told me that she wants to work on herself for once in her life before everything gets swept under her. She wants to be with me. But she told me that she can't care for someone else anymore becuase she was always doing that. My sister told me that she told her that she can't physically love someone right now even if she wanted to. My sister and her and good friends even to this day. She told her that she won't ever find a person like me. I want to apologize to you Frida. That I couldn't see the pain in your eyes, that you would hide all of your pain, worries, burdens, and sorrows. She told me all of the fucked up things that her previous exs did to her. She was alienated when I wanted to give her genuine affection and love towards her. I told her that I was planning a date to go to the aquarium. She was super excited to go. She then asked me why was I being so good to her. I told her that it's the least I could do for her. Becuase I loved her. She told me that no one has ever treated her so kindly.
What really broke me was that I wasn't able to show her the great and gorgeous things that the love she was never given. The affection, admration, and the trust.

There's no way you hate winter holidays, right? That would be heartless, I think. As for the SWTK, I think you know the answer to that. I even listened to your first 💕 pillowlap 💕 audio again a few days ago. I think I needed something to cheer me up.
As for the book, I think I reached the point where so many ideas have been presented such that I lost track of the big picture. But I can at least think about it on a micro level. From what I understand, the brain is usually in system 1, which is basically a low effort mode to handle the easiest or most immediate tasks. When that's not enough, it switches to system 2. Eventually systen 1 can adapt and can perform tasks that were previously reserved for system 2. I guess that's what happens when professors can't fathom that their students can't easily follow along. Sadly, I suppose the opposite also holds. I once heard the brain has three modes. One is for passive consumption and the other two are for thinking more in-depth. I forgot the details, though. Some people spend a lot of time on social media scrolling through pictures or whatever. Of course, you hardly need your brain to decide whether something is interesting after looking at it for a second. For children whose brains are still developing, that apparently can cause long-term issues with attention spans and focus. I don't know how compatible the two systems and three modes are, though, and I didn't find the source for the latter.
PS: About what you wrote about perfectionism, I think that's not a trait worth eradicating entirely. I consider myself a bit perfectionistic, but probably not as much as you. The strive for perfection usually entails ambition, right? And ambition immediately makes someone much more interesting, I think. So maybe there's a way to keep that without it being a huge burden. Good night.
