Two weeks ago: bought a Canon m100 Twenty minutes ago: had a storm overhead & really wanted to figure out how to do this quickly - I was able to catch some cool stuff thanks to this vid! Thank you: subbed!
Hi, nice video. Do you know if the photos save individually to review later or will it just put them altogether right away as a video? I’d like to be able to pull the images individually later on. Thanks
Hi. This is great info. Is there any way of downloading the images separately or are they automatically produced into the movie without that option? Thank you 👍
Thinking of getting this camera as a smaller carry around for videos and timelapse in between my wildlife photography. Can you set the timelapse for longer, for instance if you wanted a timelapse which lasted longer than 8 seconds. I have Sandisk extreme pro 95mb so should be fast enough, when this takes the timelapse can you edit the raw individual photos in post or does it already convert it to a video format for you? A lot of questions thankx in advance!
There are custom settings for the Timelapse, but it looks like it only goes up to four seconds. The timelapse is automatically converted into the video format. If you can, try renting one out or playing with it in stores to see if it would work for you.
@@Tfrank22 thank you, I may not get the m100, I like the other m series since they have ability to use external mic and I work outside a lot with wind so don't want that causing issues. But then they don't have timelapse feature so bit split between them.
Trying to figure out how to shoot a timelapse in 1:1 on the M100- spent a while setting up my shot perfectly but can't see any way to shoot the timelapse in 1:1, and switching it to this timelapse in video mode automatically switches it to 16:9 which means I have to reframe and relight the shot- very annoying
Maciej Jeziorski well since I’m holding the camera in my hand right now I’ll help you out. Min interval shot 2 seconds. Max interval shot 30 seconds. Min shots 30. Max shots 900. I think that’s all there is to explain. You’re welcome in advance sir

That's awesome! Glad I could help.
Thank you for this, I wish I knew this when we got the northern lights here in Oregon but next time I'll be sure to try to capture something
You're welcome :)

I love your videos. I actually just bought this camera. I watched a lot of videos...and I am so glad I bought it!
Thank you! Really appreciate the kind words, and I’m glad that you love your new camera😊
@@Tfrank22 Yes. I love that in your videos you were just straight forward and honest about the pros and cons. 👍 And thank you! 🙌
You’re very welcome. Appreciate the feedback.

Would like to know too. I just tested it but unfortunately it only shows the movie . I would love to have the photos as well
I thought it was a bit jumpy, can you change some settings to stop this look maybe 2sec will work for smoothing out.
Well presented video. Thanks
Thank you for the feedback and for watching 🙂

Thank you! It’s automatically put into a movie.
Thanks for sharing! We are in the Sunshine State too ☀️!
Appreciate you watching! Nice...what part?
@@Tfrank22 Central Florida!
I love Central Florida! 😊

You’re welcome. I have the M50 also. It has the timelapse feature😊
@@Tfrank22 the m50 was my ideal choice but it' bit expensive atm since I also would like a 6dmkii 😂
I understand completely haha. I wouldn't mind trying out the EOS R, if I could afford it.

1:07 why you didn't explain custom?
She did, the custom setting is to set the time interval and number of shots yourself
@@KevAlberta Lol really? I mean what are the limitations? 200ms or 1 sec as minimum interval etc.

@@KevAlberta Thank You very much!
Good information as always!
Thanks, Keith.
That’s amazing! I wonder can I do a time lapse using the Canon 80D
It is, and the 80D can also do it. It's in the settings. Message me on Instagram if you can't figure it out.
can it be used as a webcam at all?
I no longer have the camera, and I’m not sure that it can.
Hi, does it has Slow-Motion feature? TIA!
It doesn’t, but you can shoot in 60fps and slow it down in post.
Hi, what is the time lapse file format? Is it mov like sl2 or mp4 like gx7 ii?
I'll have to double check, but I believe it's MP4.
Awesome, thanks!
Thanks!
keep up the good work!
Will do! Thank you.
Nice, I love time lapses, but it just takes so long! 😂
Thanks!!! Yea they do, but the outcome is so beautiful lol.
Thank you!
You're welcome! Anything else you want to see? Have a few videos coming on the M100.
Meaning, It will take me 20 minutes just to achieve that 5 seconds timelapse?
