I am a disabled transman, and I came out as trans when the pandemic happened. When I came out, I was having a difficult time at home with my family because they didn't accept me right away. I was in a very sad phase in my life, and the only thing that would bring me comfort are your videos. I would spend hours and hours watching your content, from old to new, and just seeing the energy and love you both have for Disney cheered me up. When I wanted to give up, both of you motivated me to keep going. You made me look forward to going to the park again, and how beautiful it is to try new things. You reminded me that no matter the hard times, there were better days ahead. Fast forward to when Disney opened up again, I took multiple trips with my family, and it helped me get so much closer to them now. They love and accept me for who I am now. Thank you for continuing to post content and making wonderful videos like these. You both gave me hope and I will always be grateful for you two. I hope to one day run into you at the park to tell you how grateful I am in person
I got both the rainbow gray stuff and the trifle! They were delicious!! The rainbow stuff was white chocolate mousse with lemon chiffon cake and a raspberry. The trifle was white chocolate mousse again, with vanilla pudding, white cake, tart fruit crunchy bits, and whipped cream. Absolutely scrumptious!!
Idk why but the parade made me so emotional... I love that they are doing this. It truly makes Disney more magical, to be inclusive and loving towards all communities.

Too bad foods are not sold starting the event so you have at least a chance to get them during official event hours. However it looked like you guys had a great time and the foods you were able to enjoy looked really good.
Disney doesn’t seem to be too consistent on food times when these after dark events start but hopefully they get a lil’ better with that. We had such an amazing time!
Feels like a totally new world. I have a friend, a vet now in his late 70s, who wasn’t allowed in with his kids in the 70s because his hair was too long. He never went back, and naturally has been a Disney hater ever since. I also remember yrs ago reading about the times when same-sex couples were thrown out of the park for dancing together. (Forget the name of the OG red & white striped dancing spot, help me out here. My husband’s show choirs performed there for some yrs, now it’s the purple & pink Fantasy Faire.) Thank goodness so many things have changed. Not everything is a disaster… Main point being, Disney clearly knows which side their bread is buttered on, and capitalism apparently wins in the end. Socially, I’m a humongous fan of it all. The rest is better saved for another day 😉 This day is a joyous one. 🌈

People complain about rainbow capitalism but if it started going away that's when we need to be worried for our standing in this country. Capitalism is the backbone of the US so having their backing is super important. People shouldn't underestimate the power of marketing, it's been used over the years to normalize social change!
Pride night sound a fun event. Well every special occasion and events are always fun being celebrated at any disney parks. But seeing and being able to interact with new characters and new being able to try new food are the best parts and experiences. Thanks Mcvee and Janelle fur such a wonderful video and food reviews and taking us along with you on your trip to Disneyland.
