My Sails Are Set is a song written for tv show One Piece, it is not her song, they just got the best singer for it IMO, lol. I suggested Pink Moon because I figured you hadn't heard it, it is from a tribute album for a songwriter and singer from the 70's, the album has a different artist for each song on the album, this is the song I believe Aurora chose to cover. The rest of the songs on this reaction are all her original unreleased songs, which there are so so so many more for you to discover and some of them are my top tier favorite songs of hers, they are all so fabulous, plus there are so many covers you might not have heard, like Thank you, a cover of Alanis Morissette which is one that is rarely mentioned.

Oh yeah, Why Did You Have To Go always makes me cry, I empathize too much with it, so I only listen to it in reactions. Also, definitely want a part 2.

yes, there is much more and worth a 2nd part. you listened to the right people. but keep in mind, there must be a reason why there are unreleased. some of them, btw., are released. for the 2nd part i would include her cover of 'into the unknown' from her channel.
parts of 'come undone' are from patrick doyle, i guess, thats why it is unreleased. but i really like this song a lot.

Great reaction, I love how much you appreciate her talent, I am pretty obsessed with this tiny little body packed with so much talent it is bursting out in supernova's. I left you a long reply in your own comment on here also.
How unusual. She has a lot of unreleased songs, and I love many of them, including "All my Demons" which is not, unfortunately for me, in the album. There are so many more, The Sun, When I'm Gone, Silhouette, Animal Soul, Encrypted Love, etc etc etc, well maybe around 30 (60?), I couldn't really say.
But I wouldn't say that "My Sails are Set" is part of them, she didn't write it. She only sang it for the show "One piece".
Anyway, this was a great idea, thanks a lot to LilM and Oldperson for the suggestions, then, and to you for these serial reactions.🙂👍

I don't listen to them so often, to be honest, and I'm always surprised to rediscover, sort of, how much I enjoy many of them.🙂
Why did you haveto go is the most emotional song I ever heard and it is in my top 10/100 also in my top 10 Wisdom cries, and love also pink moon and Broken satellites, also very high in my top 100 best songs all time.
"Pink Moon" is also not an unreleased Aurora song.
It is a cover of a Nick Drake song, that was released July 7th 2023 on the album "The Endless Coloured Ways: The Songs of Nick Drake", where many different artists each covered 1 of his songs.
DJ San Holo was allowed to use the vocal track from the unreleased song "The Sun", and he made an EDM song called "Bring Back The Color", released June 2nd 2023.

She has never performed “Why did you have to go?” live except for in her friend’s funeral, and I think that’s the only version out there.
When it comes to “My sails are set”, you misunderstood me (my fault🫣).
The song was released in august 2023, and it’s a song she didn’t write herself.
Have you heard “Hunting Shadows” which she wrote for Assassin’s Creed?

"Wake Up" is an unreleased demo....yet it's probably my favorite Aurora song ever. It's SO good. Also "Big Blue" is an early demo with a bit of an uptempo shoegaze vibe....I adore that one. You need to hear both songs!

I was a huge Aurora fan for a good 2 years before I even _realized_ she had not only unreleased songs....but a LOT of them. All my favorite artists are super prolific. Billy Corgan, Trent Reznor, Jack White....people who _can't_ turn off their songwriting brain, even if it never ends up on an album. Aurora is clearly in that camp. She probably has 40 or 50 unreleased/demo songs, 20 to 30 cover songs, and a bunch of acoustic versions, lots of soundtrack work, and of course the entire live aspect of it all. Oh, and how could I forget...her "life album" that she won't release until after she's passed away....recording one song per decade. She's made 2 so far...and the third will be in her 30s. Given I'm like 12 years older than her, and she's no doubt healthier than I am, it's a bit sad to think I might not ever hear this album though....
Wow! I've never heard of ANY artist commit to something like that... her passion for art is truly distinctive!
Of course I would like part 2. Not everything in part 1 is unreleased (just not on album) but it does not matter as everything was so cool :).
For sure I would add to part 2 (as I love them - not only them but these come on my mind instantly):
"Animal Soul" live in NRK P3
"WE ARE GOING TO DO THAT" live in Eurosonic Fest
"My heart is Storm" *severed versions but I would go for "My heart is a storm (REMASTERED)"
"Colours Are Gone"
"Sun"
"All my demons"
"Silhouettes"
Colours are gone is the one song I would ask her to play live.
