- We are finally into October! It's here everyone!!! Which brings me to my 6th junk journal of the season. This is my Mortem Auream journal or the golden death, for dramatics. I had a journal kit from LadyBlackBlood on Etsy for the longest time and I figured now is the perfect time to use it. I stuck with a black and gold color scheme and I think it turned out pretty well.
This is a smaller journal in size: 7.75" tall by 5.75" wide and has a 1.75" spine. It has 132 pages, so it's a chunky journal. All of those spider web tea dyed pages are made my me and can be found in my Etsy store!

Wow, this is just beautiful - I’ve never thought gold could work for a Halloween, but you have nailed it (I always think purple 🤔) - the papers are fabulous - I really like ‘creepy’ Halloween rather than ‘cute’ 🤷♀️ I like the little envelope with the lace, a great idea and the coffin book was brilliant - thank you for sharing - your art is fabulous

All of your journals are stunning! Love watching your flipthroughs.I really want to buy some of your digikits, but stuff never comes out as nice when I print them. I have a canon inkjet tank printer, relatively new. Can you please advise what paper you use to get such rich black colours, and how do you make your pages so shiny! Almost like a magazine look, so pretty! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
Hi there! My printer broke (of course) when I started making my Halloween journals, so I went to Office Depot and printed most of my papers. They use a laser printer which is why there is a slight shine to the pages but the darks are super dark. I now have an Epson EcoTank and I use the Epson presentation paper and I swear the black colors print beautifully and almost look velvet.
