Thank you for your comment Suzanne. I am interested in your thoughts to help make future postings valuable to the viewers. The final product was posted to the Create Studio Facebook group, here is a link to the clip. facebook.com/1026407946/videos/607611664365234/ Or did you mean you wanted to see what the final product looked like within Create Studio Pro?
That is true. With Create Studio 3's automatic lip sync capability on 3D Creator characters, creators do not need to manually sync audio to a talking action.
Taking a snapshot should be available all plans. The track needs to be highlighted (blue outline around it) playhead where you want the snapshot, right mouse click with cursor in the highlighted track. However, if you have not upgraded to Create Studio 3 (free to all Create Studio Users) you need to do that. It has built in lip sync for the 3D Creator Characters.
@@randys_tips thanks for the quick response. It still didn’t work from the timeline for me but someone at support suggested right clicking on the canvas, and that worked.
This didn't work well for me as the still snapshot glitched between the talking sections. I had to find a work around to get the video to look the way I wanted it. Even after all of that I felt it could've had a better outcome. This should also be because of the character I used Idk. Let me know if you have suggestions for when the glitching happens.
There are a couple of things that come to mind that may cause a glitch. 1) I don't change size or position of the character before taking the snapshot as the snapshot will use the default size. 2) Just after taking the snapshot - don't move the playhead and cut the track you took the snapshot of. Move the section after the cut to the right on the timeline. Then add the snapshot to the canvas and insert it between the two sections you cut. Let me know if that resolves your glitch issue.
Takiah, I was working on another lip sync project and I noticed what you described - The character would glitch at freeze frame section during playback within Create Studio Pro. However, when the video is published the glitching is gone. Try publishing your project. In the meantime I will continue investigating.
Hello Sarvesh. You can use Audio Recording to capture your self speaking. Once you stop the recording you can then select Import, which will save the audio into My Files. You can then drag the audio file onto the canvas which will create a track in your timeline. I hope that helps.
Having the lips move only during the audio of the character is syncing lips, which is what the tutorial shares how to do. Sorry it was not what you expected.
Come on guys, all those steps to animate speech? You can do better. There are other similarly priced animation programs out there that are seamless without all those steps.
For people that are interested in animation programs with built-in lip sync, please reply with the names of the programs. This tutorial is intended to provide people already owning Create Studio Pro a method to approximate lip sync.
Randy, thanks for another creative training. You always comes up with things that soon becomes part of the program.
Thanks for the feedback. I enjoy sharing techniques I discovered, and knowing they are appreciated inspires me to keep at it.
This is masterful Randy. Thanks for sharing your expertise!
This was a good tutorial. I would have loved to have seen the final product, including the voice-over.

This needs to be updated

Do you have to have the Access All Area's account for this feature, when I try and right click on the timeline i have no option to take a snapshot

I am glad there was a work around. I will remember that in case someone else encounters the same problem.
Thank you, this was brilliant!!
Hello sir!
How could I download this software (create studio) into my computer?
You can purchase it at createstudio.com/
Thanks for that. I will certainly use it.
Very useful tutorial. Thanks
Fantastic! Thank you so much!
You didn't show the finished close up of the mouth moving.
Thank you for the valuable comment. I will consider that for future tutorials.
Well done.
Nice Tutorial, Thanks 👍
New user here. Man, I really wish you had pushed "play" after you were done.😮💨
This was one of my earlier tutorials and still learning how to improve them.

Lol, you literally didn't show anything that's in the title. The title is about lip-syincing: where in this video you talk about that? Wasted my time.
