This is going on my Christmas list. I hear it as a prayer for the animals at Christmas. Teaching my guide dog to be ready for the day when i'm blind. Half way there now. I love the two big dogs I inherited from my boyfriend who died. He left all his love bundled up in them. It will be our first Christmas alone without him. Love to all who love music and animals. Timothy Joseph Marquez So sorry for your loss. I know it is very difficult to know any loved one is gone from earth, we miss them! With the way our world is these days, if someone goes naturally or painlessly then it can be looked at as a blessing and sorrowful only because we will miss them but not because they escape this crazy place and be happy they are in a better place. Knowing that can help ease the sorrow!! I have lost my father, both Grandfathers, many aunts and uncles so many of which I loved every bit as much as my father and grandfathers. The first days after anyone passes, never get easier unless maybe after a person hits their 70s or older...lol...I'm not sure! I am 48 almost 49 and I lost my Dad when I was just a little over 16, on father's day. I had just had a new baby, a son, who my Dad only knew those first four months of his life...BUT He did get to meet my older brother's first born and my first born before going to, I believe heaven. I was really close to him and his Dad, my GrandPa! I have mostly good days but there are still days, where it seems like it was yesterday, even these almost 33 years later. I turn 49 February, my 1st son 33 in March and I can say and promise if you don't know yet, it does get easier, but there will always be days that will seem like THAT day was yesterday, and so long as you keep them in your heart and regular thoughts...which you will, you will never forget the best things about any loved one!!! Even Alzheimer's patients retain their memories of loved ones who they have recorded in their long term memories. They may not know the older/aged version of those people, they may not know so and so passed after they started losing memory, but they will remember those they loved. That is why it seems like they confuse children and grandchildren as being their siblings, they resemble the memory version of that person at a certain age!
