Both Irina and Olga are very beautiful and talented women. They both have very different body types and performance styles. Whoever is better is all a matter of opinion, it's very hard to compare the two.
Irina and Olga have very different styles :) tough both of them carry out a very similar routine, Olga's is more delicate, like a small ballerina and very elegant, whereas Irina's is full of strength and passion, like she's really trying to make an impression on Icarus. Both performances are very beautiful only in different ways.

Thanks to Olga, I always thought in the Betrothed as a very fine lady, with well manners and sexy and innocent at the same time. I believe Irina is a great performer, but I can't picture her in the Betrothed character. Kyou!.
Irina is, with no doubt, amazing. But when I watch Olga give this same performance, I feel that enticing energy, that really draws you into the performance. Irina makes all of her movements very fast, and you lose that emotion that takes you into the mood of the scene. Olga is by far my favourite performer for this part.
irina is a great contortionist and harbours a lot of skill, but olga is by far a more experienced performer. the tricks are great and everything but performing is what you do in between them, and that's what makes a really magical performance. there are hundreds of people out there who can do a lot of the tricks that irina can do, but no one can match the performance that olga gave. she truely created a giant part of varekai.
Wow.. everyone needs to stop comparing Irina and Olga. This act wasn't created for Olga and this act is completely Irina's; she's been doing it for almost five years now, Olga was only apart of it for about two. Olga is old news and a thing of the past when it comes to varekai.
I agree with AliceoftheRose. You have to have audience presence and charisma on top of your athletic prowess because if you don't it all becomes very technical - without any artistic/emotional connection
I agree with everybody it lacks the emotion the elegance and quality that olga had but anyhow irina did a wonderful job filling the role but second best to Olga
I don't really believe Irina is a human O_O' she's so flexible! But Olga is a little bit more graceful, she moves like water... I prefer Olga, but Irina is a great contortionist ^^
I love Irina she is far more better than Olga and she shines on the stage and under it. Olga is a good artist but she doesn´t get close to the fans. I preferd IRINA
My personal opinion is the act featured in the 2002 DVD is better, with Olga Pikhienko, and the singer to me, will never fill Zara Tellander´s shoes, Zara is the best!
I agree. Don't get me wrong, Irina is an incredible contortionist, but she does not fit the character. The caterpillar is supposed to be fragile but strong and innocent yet sexy. It just looks like Irina is just performing. Olga actually put some feeling into it and made it look like it was the CHARACTER doing the act. I really do prefer Olga.
And... Even if Irina is a better contortionist, she still has to present herself to the crowd. And after watching both... I was disappointed with Irina. Olga just completely pasted her in beauty and performance.
That was good. I must say though... Olga Pikhienko's performance is better. Irina is a better contortionist and can manipulate her body beautifully, But Olga makes it smoother, and prettier. And Olga's form is better than Irina's. Inina looks awkward a lot and not graceful. Her performance is lacking... But where Olga is not as a good contortionist, she is a way better performer. And Olga is prettier for the part... just m opinion though. I love them both!!!
Irina is terrible. Their is no grace she doesn't look like she fits the part. Just something wrong with it. Don't get me wrong she's an amazing performer but Olga is just the best
