Lmao I get the struggle too with Herta lol. I run her with Jade this PF, and for the entire run I be like "For the love of god how did I lose 50/50 kururin this much with Herta?!?". I mean I also lose 50/50 so much in banners 💀 so it's not too far off.
Genius's Repose lc is better on Herta than Birth of the Self, I tried it, unless Herta is performing FUA now and then, Genius takes the lead, of she is performing FUA (with smn like Topaz, Himeko or Argenti) then Birth of the Self wins.
Eh it's technically the easiest of the 3 current endgame modes. I got 69k on my first attempt of this one and then pulled Argenti cause I wanted a real aoe character and got 80k with him. The issue with PF is mostly a 4 star thing, Herta is the only good aoe 4 star character lmao. And she needs someone to activate her.
I see that it start to push you in the full eagle territory, which signify that the content is getting harsher. Still congratz for your clear🎉 Oh also herta's LC. It is good if herta is not the one who proc the fua that much (I mean if herta is mostly used for spin and you don't care about her skill and ult then this LC spin hit hardest) but for herta hypercarry this lc is the worst.

Wow your side 1 was actually really good! I love the usage of Eagle set here, I might have to start farming a lot more of it. Pure Fiction is getting to be the most gimmicky and character specific of the 3 modes 🤔. I'm glad that we can still clear it though, for now.

Yes every PF feels like a new endgame, the strategy from last one doesn’t apply to current one, as the devs can change hp, toughness bar (bugs), mobs allow on the field etc. For eagle set, I got them with about 2 months farming with crafting once a while
Despite this being a FUA propaganda cycle, they really hard countered Clara with that 1st half 2nd wave. Most enemies can't trigger her counter, and in the event that a bug explodes (which CCs your team anyway), I'm pretty sure she doesn't even attack cause the original attacker is considered dead. Thankfully, Herta exists for 2nd half. Anyways good video, I like your 4 star clears!

If the vines all had the exact same weaknesses as the deer it wouldn’t be so bad, but the fact that two elements that work on one dont work on the other is insane. And the fact that we have pretty much no aoe quantum characters (im pretty sure our only one is jade? Qq could count but you don’t really tend to use her for aoe. Xueyi technically counts but most of her damage occurs on the weakness break, which mostly only happens to the central target.), the only element every single vine is weak to, is terrible. They should honestly make vines of the same type share hp, to balance it out more, similar to the sunday fight. The best characters to fight them with are basically just ruan mei or acheron, since they can extend break or ignore toughness on every single target.
I think devs know people are lacking aoe physical and quantum character. Qq is more of a burst type, you are right she is not good in this mode. I mean they can change the element and toughness in APOC already. Is it really easy for them to make small change in PF, I really like your idea of share hp mechanic, it’s better that way to remove some RNG

The way I suffered so much with the "Herta can't take advantage of PF's buff" as well as the way Gallagher's healing is pretty... scarce a times, makes me understand some of the pain you went through in this run. Besides that, if you can achieve these results with 4*, just thinking about what you could be capable of achieving with 5 stars is scary lol
@@yukiy556 yes, a lot of RNG factors in this one. For 5 stars, it gets done to how you build your team and relics investment. They generally hit harder which bypass many mechanics. With 4 stars, I have to optimize every bit of dmg and watch closely what enemies are doing, in order to reduce the RNG as much as possible

I swear Pure Fiction is getting less and less balanced with each update. Every character can be at max stats with as much speed as I can put on them, yet it's never enough, if Ruan Mei isn't on a particular team, they can't even reach the boss, and I've tried every harmony character that boosts speed, including Robin. If you don't take an abundance or preservation character, your team will die, if you do, you can't take the characters you need in order to clear this. Part two for me is no issue, Ruan Mei, Himeko, Herta and Fu Xuan can clear it with ease, the problem is making over 18000 point in part one, and looking at my friends list, they aren't doing any better, the only ones who have 3 stars have characters like Luocha, Adventurine or Huohuo. The only healer I have that's worth a damn in this is Bailu, everyone else wipes my party before the second round is half way through, but Bailu lacks the speed. It would be great if they would let us use at least one character from a friend's team in this, or maybe take the fact that speed in this game works against us in these modes, as this is quite literally the only time any of this is a problem for the characters I have. Honestly, I am so sick of having to rebuild characters I rarely or don't ever use, every single time Pure Fiction updates, or rebuild a character that worked great in the previous version, I never have the time or resources for new characters when they come out anymore, it's making me burn out. -_-; After trying every possible combination, I finally managed to clear this. Here is the line up I used: Part 1: Fu Xuan, Robin, Asta, Clara - Exaggerate Part 2: Ruan Mei, Himeko, Herta, Jade - Distoration I was still only able to get 20000 in the first half, but the addition of Jade made it a constant barrage of follow up attacks that made it to the end, and ultimately slayed the deer. I'd Tried the second team before, but the counter always killed Herta before the deer's health bar was half way, but got lucky this time.

Because only 4 mobs allow on the field, and the bugs are so fast and can CC the whole team without Cleanse/resist. Hopefully they release more character like Herta and Himeko. Also PF is harder because they only give 8 cycles instead of 10 in MoC. And people can cheat on action value in MoC but not in PF.

In my case, I play Star Rail along with Genshin, Honkai impact 3rd and now Zenless Zone Zero, so I don't really have the time or patience to invest in things like Relics/Artifacts, unless there is a character that needs a specific set. So when farming for them, if it looks good at the time, I'll lock it and save it for when I have a character that might need it, and when a character needs a Relic I don't have, I generally just have to farm for one or two from that set, occasionally manufacturing when farming falls through, but the substats are usually where where I run into the problems, because I don't level up any of the Relics on standby. While it is good that modes like Pure Fiction and Forgotten Hall are difficult, they have a tendency to cater to very specific characters and builds, either forcing us to build characters we might not use, might not have, or in some cases rebuild a character that worked before, so I think that both modes could definitely use some reworking, and as said earlier, if they let us take one trial character from a friend's lineup, it would make these modes far more balanced, as forming team is easy, but the other team always ends up lacking in someway. In Pure Fiction's case, I feel they need to add more options for perks that take different builds into account, always having something with speed in mind, cause not everyone has a team that can clear at top speed. Personally, as a universal feature, I think they should add an option where a character has their default setup (Relics, Light Cones), but then when forming a particular party, there could be an option to 'borrow' from another character, as long as that other character is not in the active party. For an example, let's say you have a really good pair of speed boots on a particular character, but that character is not in the active party, a character that is could borrow those boots, as long as that particular party is loaded, no reconfiguring would be necessary, as when you switch it would be back to the default setup, or the custom setup that the party you're switching to uses. Another reason why I think this would make a great feature, imagine having to switch Relics and Light Cones for one of these modes, but you forget to switch everything back afterwards, and then enter combat with the character who now has the dud set. lol Btw, for some weird reason, I can attempt Pure Fiction over and over again for weeks on end, but somehow always manages to complete on the last day. ^_^;

Yes it would be really nice to have one character from friends at e0 or something. It's not easy to have every character built. Saving relics as a team is very cool as this is a team building game, hopefully they can add something like this in the future patches. I can only play 2-3 games at a time, respect to you that able to play all of them. That's a good change in genshin for artifact system, I think people would have an easier time building their characters
@@WeiForever Genshin's recent live stream went over a lot on the player feedback, particularly about the artifact situation, so hopefully good things will happen all around. As for the party relic sharing feature I mentioned, I did actually send that to the devs as a suggestion, while that doesn't necessarily mean it will get implemented, it at least should make it to the table for consideration, so I'll keep my fingers crossed on that one. I remember sending the devs of HI3 a suggestion to make a mermaid themed costume for Mobius as a summer outfit, 6 months later they released Mobius' Daughter of Pearls skin, which is almost identical to my suggestion, they just changed her dress color from green to blue, and used a jellyfish instead of a clam shell, even having her monster form that appears during her ultimate replaced with the god of the sea was in my suggestion, so player feedback does occasionally bring results. lol

This might be a dumb question but why Lynx over Natasha lynx’s healing might be better but Natasha could help with breaking enemies on the first phase since most of them have a physical weakness
@@ahhdibfrjf Natasha can work potentially, she can help with breaking and with lower energy cost for eagle set. But for the bugs, you need to be very careful, it outrages 2-3 targets which is really hard for her to do the cleanse.

For some reason when i use lynx/gallagher to debuff the exploding bugs, my characters dont get released from cc. Is it because they have multiple debuffs on them and the cc isnt targetted for whatever reason?
Also pure fiction is hell... 🥲 5/6 stars is enough for me. I dont have enough time or resources to build himeko or herta for now so i guess i cant really complain
@@Wiserwords25 yes, focus on 1-2 game mode is better. Not worth it for the resources you put in. About the bugs, yes it counts as diff debuff. Try to avoid multiple bugs exploded. Or just let both debuff expired at the same time

As for the party relic sharing feature I mentioned, I did actually send that to the devs as a suggestion, while that doesn't necessarily mean it will get implemented, it at least should make it to the table for consideration, so I'll keep my fingers crossed on that one.
I remember sending the devs of HI3 a suggestion to make a mermaid themed costume for Mobius as a summer outfit, 6 months later they released Mobius' Daughter of Pearls skin, which is almost identical to my suggestion, they just changed her dress color from green to blue, and used a jellyfish instead of a clam shell, even having her monster form that appears during her ultimate replaced with the god of the sea was in my suggestion, so player feedback does occasionally bring results. lol

This might be a dumb question but why Lynx over Natasha lynx’s healing might be better but Natasha could help with breaking enemies on the first phase since most of them have a physical weakness
@@ahhdibfrjf Natasha can work potentially, she can help with breaking and with lower energy cost for eagle set. But for the bugs, you need to be very careful, it outrages 2-3 targets which is really hard for her to do the cleanse.
Lynx's healing is not better than Natasha @-@
They almost the same. The different is one can clean whole team and one can only clean one member

@@jean-thomato it depends on what character you have ig. For AS, it counts action value which made it hard to get huge improvement, breaking is really important for get good score
@@WeiForever yeah, I feel like I did not struggle as much in PF probably bcz of argenti ..while in AS , all my main teams consists of either physical and imaginary dps...the only one that can breaks cocolia side is my dot dps, black swan lol ..hence leading me to build xueyi

For some reason when i use lynx/gallagher to debuff the exploding bugs, my characters dont get released from cc. Is it because they have multiple debuffs on them and the cc isnt targetted for whatever reason?
Also pure fiction is hell... 🥲 5/6 stars is enough for me. I dont have enough time or resources to build himeko or herta for now so i guess i cant really complain
@@Wiserwords25 yes, focus on 1-2 game mode is better. Not worth it for the resources you put in. About the bugs, yes it counts as diff debuff. Try to avoid multiple bugs exploded. Or just let both debuff expired at the same time

Why is your xueyi build more crit focused rather than break effect?
because I am running her with hmc with provide 100+ BE. Also Xueyi's e4 gives another 40 or 50 BE, she can also use Misha's lc

@@WeiForever I knew it was over for him when Ruan Mei came out and I couldn't 2 cycle even with her. Not being able to get to reset with the E4 reliabily was a big setback.
