- Legendary singer Jay Kay from Jamiroquai driving his stunning Verde Pino over tan Ferrari 275 GTS to a local car meet. There were lots of other special cars there including all manner of Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini. I have also previously seen the singer in his one of one Ferrari 330 Vignale Shooting Brake, F12 TDF and his one-off 'Verde Jamiro' LaFerrari too.
This guy has such a passion for classic cars. And the man has such beautiful FUNK running through his veins. He has brought us nothing but pleasure. Love all his work well done J kay.

My first job was a sales exec at a company called Danbury Caravans, JK came in his personalised Ferarri made specially for him (name embroided on dash). Didn't recognise him at first he just asked where the toilet was. He ended up ordering a brand new VW T5 camper which cost £60k+. When we asked what he will use it for he simply responded: its for my dog.

Yes tbh it was the only interesting car there, amongst the Nouveau riche coffee brigade , it's ok pottering around in one of these solo but to meet on an industrial estate somewhere to pose at who has the biggest credit card bill is a little embarrassing no ?:)!

Just watched the vid, an found it hard to spot a porsche
JKs Ferrari 275 is worth 10 x more than those run of the mill Porsche 911 GT3s. All it’s cousins ruled Le Mans in the late 50s, and early 60s. It’s the most important car there by far, even if the performance is now pedestrian by modern standards.
But you'd have x10 times more fun in a gt3. Makes you wonder why people pay 2m for a car when you can pay 100k and have x10 times more fun

Ironically he also isn’t a braggard with cars as status symbols as media makes out. JayKay has loved cars since he was a kid - and is knowledgeable about the golden age of track sports cars from 50s to 80s as much as the eye candy for rich consumers. He is a genuine car enthusiast, to him it has nothing to do with how much the car costs. He could have turned up in a 250 mph Bugatti, but that’s simply a boring publicity stunt playing to type and misinformed media hype. That’s what other famous people do who aren’t enthusiasts but simply want to market their image alongside some sexy supercar. His tastes and motivations may have ripened with age, but like most enthusiasts a cars mythical character, handling qualities and emotional effects are always much more important than outright speed, power and tech. He’s fortunate to be able to indulge in classics that he recalls from childhood or cars from earlier periods and as a bonus it distinguishes him from the crowd when showing up at events like this. People will remember his car as being little bit special and unique more than the phalanx of 911 derivatives pulling out of that car park.
