If your feet are too wide for the vapors, the Speedflow might just be the perfect pair for you! They definitely fit a bit wider and the upper does a really good job molding to the shape of your foot. Very stoked to get the Ultra 1.3s in as soon as they release!

Great video! Found your reviews recently and it is really nice to hear the opinion of a pro footballer 👍🏼 I feel like I have a pretty similar foot shape as you have and am currently looking to buy new boots. I ordered some Vapor 14s and Phantom GTs recently and immediately felt that the Vapors are not for me… But I still have a question… I ordered both boots in a 9 and actually both models fitted pretty weird. Regarding length I had a lot of space (like 3/4 of the width of my thumb) in the front but even the Phantom GTs were very tight on the outside of my midfoot. I guess that can change once they are broken in but regarding the length I pretty much need at least a whole size smaller. Will the width of the boot reduce significantly when going one size smaller or do you think that could work once they are broken in? Thanks again for the video!
Bro I have probably the same issue you have. Nike size 10 fit me well all the way until my front foot and toes. Run a tiny bit long. To fix that, I bought these air cushion insoles at target. I cut a piece out that will fit under the insole of the forefoot and it eliminates that extra space and doesn’t fit too right or weird. They fit perfect after that.
Thank you mate, I'm glad you find my videos helpful! That's a lot of space in the front of your boot! I would recommend finding a size where your toe is almost perfectly up to the end of the boot. The GTs should be wide enough for most people, so I don't think you should have any issues at all. One thing I have experienced though, similar to you: Whenever I get a boot that I think could fit me, but I mess up the sizing (too long), the boots always feel weird/not right. Even if a boot ends up being too skinny (like the vapor 14s), the "true to size" fit always feels better than a bigger boot, even if I don't wear them. Hope that helps mate!
What I was waiting for! Amazing video man as always!!! I own a pair of them and the softness you get when you break them in is incredible, it’s probably 5x softer than right out of the box but it takes around 5 sessions to let them get the shape of your feet. Also, and this is more personal, I didn’t like the heel tab so I cut it off, and they look good honestly. Again, keep it up man, and amazing video!
@@NoahCavanaugh they’re amazing, it’s a pain in the butt when you’re breaking them in but they totally worth it! Greetings man! And if there’s people wondering if the cleat looks good without the heel tab, it really does! Thanks for the reply man!
Can I ask you, during preseason or if you are doing training by yourself, how can you see improvement if you already are at a relatively high level? I have been doing the same simple drills like passing against a wall, juggling, dribbling around cones for a while and have not seen any big changes. How do you keep motivated? Thank you for making these high quality videos!
Slow and steady improvements come from long hours of training mate! Anything that happens overnight is pretty short lived, or there is usually some negative downside to it. Nowadays, I don't even focus on SEEING improvement, because I know that with the correct training and consistency and effort that I put in, the results will follow. Instead, I focus on creating a sense of satisfaction and confidence within myself knowing that I've put in the work and that the training will translate to the games, which is where it REALLY matters.
Just started watching your videos! fan of the channel. I have been wearing Tiempos for the last couple of years. I was thinking of buying these cleats but not sure what size to get? any recommendations? thanks
Hey mate! Thank you for the support, and welcome to the fam! It depends on your foot shape and what type of feel you like. I've yet to get my hands on a pair of tiempo 9s but I've heard they're really good. It's always been my opinion that if you love wearing a pair of boots (tiempos in your case) and they fit comfortably, don't switch them out! It's not worth it! If you're absolutely keen to switch to the vapors, then it depends on your foot shape! If you've got relatively wide feet, consider 1/2 size up or a different boot. If you're a thinner foot shape, true to size is the best!
@@NoahCavanaugh thanks man! All the tiempos that are out in my size are on backorder so it would be hard to get some before/during the season. I plan on ordering the silver safaris as of rn thanks again
@@ItzPots Great plan mate! The other option if you really like tiempos is to go with the mizuno rebula cup MIJ - by far the best leather boot on the market in my opinion, and they're even lighter than the Tiempos!
Amazing video! I've got the Safaris in the Pro version (actually thought they were the Elite model up until a few days ago, they really felt great). Unfortunately, they're now too small which means I'm on the search for new ones. Quick question, do all the Vapor 14 models fit the same? Asking because I tried on the Elites in a 7.5, and they fit fine despite them being much too small for me on the Pro version. Could it be because I bought the Pros used? Thanks!
Very nice! The pro version is really nice I've heard, basically a top end boot as well! I haven't tried on any other vapor model other than the Elite, so I'm not sure I can answer that mate... If you bought the pros used, then someone has already broken them in and stretched them a bit! I'd just go for your normal boot size to get the best fit!
@@NoahCavanaugh Gotcha! I ended up going with the Elites, they feel absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, my right foot is slightly smaller than my left, meaning that my latter fits perfectly whereas my right is ever so slightly too roomy towards the toes. Quick question so I have these in an 8 and a 7.5 m and in the size 8 I experience some heel slippage and in the 7.5 there’s no heel slippage but they feel a bit tight will they loosen up ? And did you experience any heal slippage ?
I don't think I'll be getting the superfly 8 in mate, as Lee Gutierrez mentioned, it's the exact same boot with just a little bit of material around the collar area, which doesn't really warrant a separate review! If you like the look of the vapor 14 and you think they'd be a great fit for you but you also like the collar, then the superfly 8s will be perfect for you!
hey i've been wearing the speedflow.1 for a while and they are quite comfortable to me. Do you think i will fit into the vapors? (i too have a slightly wide feet)
I would be cautious about the vapors because they are a bit more slim fitting, and the upper isn't even close to as soft and malleable as the Speedflow.1. If you like the way the Speedflow fit, why switch?
Hey mate! As far as colorways go, it's unlikely that I'll do reviews on a boot just because they're a different colorway. The only time that I'll do that is if it's a boot that I'm going to be wearing for my own football career, in which case I'll review several different colors as I buy them for myself! As for your question about the superfly 8s, they are the exact same as the vapor 14, Nike just added a little flyknit collar at the top around your ankle! You can expect them to fit exactly the same as the vapor 14s, so all the information about the boots in my review stands for those as well! Hope that helps brother
