Oil is not necessary in rice 🍚. U can put rice on pot with water and boil it and eventually it will be done

If you want the grains to be separate and whole, the you have to put a little oil. I make rice in a rice cooker, but I still put 1/2 teaspoon oil and a couple of pinches of salt.

Extra virgin olive oil shouldn't be used for high heat cooking as it has a low smoking point. Use it for drizzling cold items. :)
