Great video! I just bought a 124 Spider Abarth with driver airbag deployed. Having trouble getting the car to turn on. Any idea what might cause that? Some type of fuel kill switch or something? Thanks!
Great videos, I have a 2010 Dodge Journey, airbag light stays in, my mechanic plugged it in, and error code B1B06 was diagnosed, trouble code says “Driver Airbag Squib 2 circuit open” Can I turn the air off, status “active” Is this a minor repair, or can I simply have the airbag light turned off. Thanks very much for the info
This video provided goid information, however, there are a vast amount of great questions here that have yet to be answered. When do they, if at all, get around to responding to these messages 🤔?
Can you do a video that shows how to find the problem cause I didn't touch anything and light came on. Show how to locate it and turn off without a scanner thanks
2018 Promaster City with 2.4 tigershark. I wast tryinng to store some tools under my passenger seat and accidentally ripped some airbag seat belt connector. I reconnected, but now I get Warning Airbag service required or something. I guess i have to clear my code? Will autozone do this for me? What's the cheapest tool that can do this?
Hey so I recently got in a accident in my 2004 Chrysler crossfire, the air bags came out and I’m going to replace them but I’m wondering if I need to reset or reprogram the srs system to take the new air bags or is it just plug and play ?
I have a 2005 dodge caravan. I was backing up and my front left tire bounced off the curb and set off the air bag warning light. I put my code reader on and get NO code. Is the front impact sensor mercury switch? Where is it located? Can it be reset by unplugging and re plunging?
I removed the head set in my passenger side 2017 dodge journey I didn’t know there was a airbag sensor was connected. I plugged the sensor back in the light went off for 2 weeks but came back on
Basically your video is "connect the cable that you disconnected and the car will take care of it." Not really what I was expecting. But thanks for trying.
Dear Friend I have 2012 freemont. Airbag indication lights are on. Fault code is B2207 and B2208 Occupant Restraint Controller Internal 1 & 2. What is the problem? How can I fix it? I can not reset it via OBD connection.
No special tools. Er OK, I don't have one of those scanner things lying around. I don't even know what it's called. It's a specialist tool to me. Lawd have mercy. 🙏🏽
Hey you guys welcome back to our repair you guys in todays video you guys were gonna start this dodge you guys what you need to know about the car battery you guys ok plz subscribe you guys
Hello, I have 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The air bag light is on. I have checked the wires and they are all connected. I have installed new the clock spring. The air bag light remains on. Would you be able to offer a solution on this pls. Thank you
The horn on my 2012 Bmw doesn’t work, everything is becoming electrical so plugs or wires are getting unplugged like the van in the vid. Simple fix but hard to find.
Well this was stupid.. the scanner is a tool. I thought maybe there was a way to turn the key on and off, or some other trick to erase codes... I think you get kickbacks on the scanner manufacturer.
So let me get this straight.... You created a false problem with your airbag system by disconnecting a wiring harness.... You then *used a scan tool* to demonstrate how to diagnose the problem.... Then you reconnect the wiring harness, which results in the airbag light not coming back on because the "problem" is now fixed.... And this is somehow supposed to help people correct an airbag light without tools? I would definitely never bring a vehicle in to someone who created such a stupid video.
I think the point of the video is that various connections around the vehicle can come loose on their own from bumps, etc. causing the warning light to come on. By verifying this with the scanner and finding the loose connection you can fix the problem without taking apart your dash just by tightening the plugs correctly. Maybe adding tape to secure.

Will this work on an older Chrysler like an 02 Town and Country?
Hey quick question, When replacing a deployed Airbag, is the AirBag light supposed to automatically go out Or it still needs reprogramming?? Thanks.
You’ll just need a scan tool that can reset airbags. Also, I know this comment is from 3 years ago, but other people might have the same question.
Can you do a video that shows how to find the problem cause I didn't touch anything and light came on. Show how to locate it and turn off without a scanner thanks

Unfortunately there a hundred things that can keep an airbag light on, a loose wire is the least of our worries. Thats an easy one
Con todo respeto pero tu ingles es pesimo compadre pero el video esta muy bueno

just bought that to clear airbags o fiat 2021 it doesn't work
The title is "HOW TO RESET AIRBAG LIGHT NO TOOLS REQUIRED", but isn't the scanner a tool?"
Lol, that looks like a special tool to me
This doesn't work on 2004 Dodge Dakota. I broke my clockspring, replaced it and the airbag light comes on, then goes off, then comes on.
Man . I'm looking for dadge ram lol
