Peter not only are you so STRIKINGLY BEAUTIFUL/HIGHLY INTELLIGENT/TALENTED/ARTICULATE but to hear you fucking PRAISE my second FAVORITE band after Bauhaus ( Echo & The Bunnymen/ Ian McCullough ) makes me ADORE you even MORE!!!.. While sometimes speaking with your CUTE "stutter"!!!...
I remember watching this when it aired in 92 being a huge Peter Murphy fan. Always caught 120 mins when i could. It's so great to see the Limelight again after so many years. I used to frequent Communion many times in the early 90's and will never forget meeting Siouxsie there in 91. On a side note... I always felt Dave Kendall was an insufferable twat-waffle.
Such a lovely person. Grew up with his/their music, in the very early 80's. Bauhaus shaped my life, in too many Positive ways to mention! To see how he works through, and embraces his stammer, rather than letting it take hold of him, is so inspiring! So glad he didn't mean what he said, as far as.... If Bauhaus ever reunited, it would be a bad thing....because, I can't wait to see them again...All original members, reuniting to play in London in a few weeks time. 2021 October....can't wait!!!! Full Circle...INDEED! Covid cancelled it 3 times already...Not this time.......It is a GO!
Thanks so much for this upload! I was supposed to be at thus gig with friends, but missed it. Still kicking myself in the ass 23+ years later! (Good gawd!)
I was there at the Limelight (Slimelight) for that show, it was fantastic! Even better was around the same time seeing Peter at Roseland, which was a level even above this one. At the latter, they did a long "Final Solution" and it was asskicking, with Peter being lifted aloft by a stage guy or roadie and spun round the stage! I jumped up and down a lot.
Peter John Joseph Murphy (n. 11 de julio de 1957, cerca de Northampton, Reino Unido), es el vocalista del grupo post-punk Bauhaus, además de poseer una amplia carrera en solitario, alcanzado su cenit comercial en 1990.
I love this man he is the epitome of elegance in a divine masculine energy he is something else pure magic either solo or with Bauhaus all adorable and as well as his art , his humanity shines through he is a truly gorgeous soul . So happy to be in love from afar with this man ...💖✨🙏😍
FUUUCK...with all the in between interviewing how can any one get thru a show but Peter does it with integrity, style and a strong meekness that leaves an interviewer in the dust...
I remember reading in an interview with Ian McCulloch in which he said that he thought Bauhaus were terrible, but Peter seems to like Ian’s band! Nevertheless, I love both Bauhaus and Echo & the Bunnymen.
We used to howl at this whole thing, I'd taped it on my VHS at the time. I'm sure it was also quite therapeutic for him to hiss at Dave Kendall! I love when Peter tells him "this solo THING has been going on for six years, guy" or whatever. Owned!
Alison Cain.. Peter stutters since he got pneumonia at the time of Bauhaus 1983 .. But for me and for many far from seeming a problem ... It makes Peter look more adorable😊💟💟
Melina karen Yes, I realized that after doing more reading. And believe me when I say I don't see it as anything to be ashamed of. I was born with a disorder that took over five surgeries to somewhat fix. I don't judge. Actually, things like that make us stronger and more empathetic to others.
So much feeling and soul in the voice. I have loved Peter Murphy and Bauhaus ever since I first heard him.
Te amo peter murphy, esos ojos me tienen enamorada .
31 years has passed since I saw this back when I was 20 years old. Makes me feel young.
Peter Murphy, for me one of the best singers in rock. His voice goes through my very bones!
Peter murphy is great songwriter and performing well
Alternative music.
Such a lovely man...
Best Voice on the planet. ❤
Never realised Murphy had stammer but can see hear real moderation of breath at first I thought he just got over pneumonia
he was warming his throat up for the show
@@rebelinkontrol5601He does have a stutter though, though he has dealt with it well.
I was at his show at Limelight
What a beautiful man
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH...this is a most precious and utterly stunning and beautiful capture of Peter!! xx
Marriage is a statement. It says, "I want to spend my time with you, no matter how bad it gets."
he's so precious
Peter Murphy is a dark elf bard.
Grateful for all the brilliant music created during my youth. Cheers to everyone listening in 2021.
Is a cute charming young man
Seeing him work through the impulse to stutter makes me love and respect this man even more
"Having a new sun," or SON? Well, he covered it pretty good

I was there for this show (and most shows at Communion at Limelight during those years). It's neat to see the footage so many years later!
I met Peter years ago.. Great guy, and best night ever.
He molested me too. : (

Love his honesty.
Stunning
The count, white and drawn.

That's because because Peter is a true artist with CLASS...most bands are stuck up and strung out.
Ian hates everyone.. 😅
What is the very last last song played over the credits at the end (it's outro was played as this video's outro)..
please and thank you. ? 🤙

I still have this on VHS!
At this point, he did seem like a slim pixie but he didn't come off as very forlorn!
he was so anxiouslove ya Peter
bamnyosh It's not anxiety. Peter is using some breathing and speaking techniques to manage his stutter.
oh wow, he managed it so well!
We used to howl at this whole thing, I'd taped it on my VHS at the time. I'm sure it was also quite therapeutic for him to hiss at Dave Kendall! I love when Peter tells him "this solo THING has been going on for six years, guy" or whatever. Owned!
What’s the name of Peter’s song they played at the very end?
It might be Roll Call.
Peter Murphy ex bauhaus esse é lenda
"This is Eddie Branch..Teryl Bryant" et al. Peter Bonas was merely a bonus! Fucking brilliant band!
Yes The Hundred Men!!!
who was the bass player in this tour? anyone knows? thx
Eddie Branch is The Hundred Men bassist He mentions him at approx. 17:59
Hope this helps 💜
Back when his live voice was phenomenal
god i love him
Always throwin shade at Danny. 😂
Well,I bet Danny is going to throw the biggest shade at him one day,I'm even positive.😂
Lenda
He has Andy William's eyes & facial structure...
Why is he gasping like that? It seems like a breathing technique or something. Oh, I kept reading. Got it. What a good thing to know how to do.

Merci (Sophie,Strasbourg,France)
😍😍😍
The perils of live rock and roll, yes. Pero no le entendí casi nada al señor Murphy porque habla muy rápido.
❤❤❤💎💎💎
His accent so nice and aristocratic...where is he from in the uk?
Northampton
Yeah wellingbro but also irish
Congratulations uploaded the whole video, I just had it in parts and could not do, but anyway i try, your video is excellent
I don't know that I'd characterize Bauhaus as particularly spiritual. Maybe in a very irreverent sense.
liked the outro lol
....as for a Bauhaus reformation, sadly, I feel Peter was mainly right.
his speech is weird, he was prob using meth at this point even.
