September 6th Clemson Historic Picture And Trivia Question Of The Day

Today’s photo is from 1972 and shows the construction of the 9-lane track.
You can note in the upper part of the photo that Lot 5 was still an intramural field with lights and grass.
You can also note that there are no upper decks on Memorial Stadium.
Trivia Question
While you can see a tower above the track complex where Clemson practices football today, that is not the place the football team practiced in 1972. Where was that?
