Maria and Nabol - Food & Travel Videos awesome! Where are you located? You really should! I'm in Utah, so far from an ocean & I was still able to get certified & felt comfortable
Omg! Ur gonna love it! Just remember to keep calm & remember your training. Watch your air every time you are enthralled by an animal, check your air. I got to 400psi on my last dive & the tank got so light I couldn’t finish my safety stop. Other than that the water is amazing and all the fishy’s are going to amaze you!
That looks like so much fun, I was just thinking about getting certified after the Galapagos. I would have gotten so much better video diving than snorkeling. Great job!
Gosh your so kind Todd ;) YOU SHOULD GET CERTIFIED! It is inspiring and terrifying all at the same time. Anyone can do it too. It is sooooo hard to get stable footage underwater though. Gonna try a different stabilizer on this next dive in Florida and see how it goes.
Love the opening over the mountains! I have always wanted to scuba dive so this is totally on my list of must things to do! Looks like you had a blast!
so so so cool! I am seriously so jealous of your time in cabo! but I'm glad it was so amazing for you. I really want to get scuba certified.... maybe by the end of this year if I can save the money for it.
@@CultureTrekking I won't be diving there but it looks wonderful. I'll doing my first dive in Monterey Bay, CA this weekend and I'm super super anxious about it. Been watching a lot of first dive videos. You did so good. It was a pleasure to watch your video. I'm scared and I might not do it.
no matter how prepared you feel, you will always feel scared. Just put the fear into a box, and focus on how far you've come. That is what I did, and talk to your diving buddy - it helps a TON
@@CultureTrekking ok. I'll try to do that. Everyone says that the problems I'm having will sorry themselves out when I get in the ocean. Having weird buoyancy issues. I always end up on the bottom on my right side. That is freaking me out. But I'll tell my dive buddy I'm having anxiety and will try to put it all aside. Will tell you how it goes by the end is the weekend. Hope I do as good as you.
Yes, I was open water certified. It is best to get certified beforehand so you don't cause damage to the coral or have the current take you into a rusty edge of a ship. Being able to keep your height within water is a lot more difficult than it looks and you can put other people in danger if you don't know what your doing. There are things like Snuba that you can do, where you are tethered to a line and it guides you underwater etc... It would be a lot safer for you and the party your with. I work in the medical field, so I would NOT suggest going unless you have your certification, look up decompression sickness - not something I want to mess with personally.
What a great place to have your first dive!!
It truly was such an amazing experience. Have you been diving?
What an amazing 1st dive! You saw so many cool creatures!!
It really was a fun dive and even though it was super hazy, I'm grateful it was my first dive.
Very nice video. We would love to try diving as well. Looks like a lot of fun.

Looked like a great experience! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Really appreciate that. Have you ever been Scuba Diving?
I have only been snorkeling and I loved it, but I am sure to try scuba diving someday!
This is amazing! As you know - I'm a NEW diver! I'm actually heading down to Florida in two weeks to do my first post-cert dives! Can't wait :)

Quick question Im going There in a few weeks, were you certified before you took this dive?
