That truck is earning its keep! Good stuff mate 👍😊
It sure is. Cheers mate
Hey man, your doing awesome. You're lucky you've got a truck- I go scrapping on a push bike- but you'd be surprised at the quantities of materials I come home with. Our govt has just introduced a drinks container return scheme and that's amazing too. I had a scrapping channel about two years ago and switched it to a coin collecting channel. Needless to say I lost all my subscribers- about 300. I'm watching as many scrapping channels as possible now to really learn the trade and in 18 months I should have a truck- at least a small car anyway. I've just started my channel again- strictly recycling this time. I hope to learn as much as possible from people like yourself. Liked, subbed and 🔔
Thank you 🙏. Where are you from? Our government also introduced the return it can collection, which is quite popular. No doubt you will do great keep it going, plenty of money in it. 👍
@ScrapMetalTV. I'm in Ireland, buddy. I've worked out that apart from the metals and copper, I can get about €10 per hour from drinks containers. People where I live think they're too good to collect them, but I've always had an eye for making $$$
@@AlanaCaitlin That's awesome. Sound like you have figured out where the money is. 👍
Try and contact A washer and dryer guy - He may buy your units off of you - Florida United States does a lot of business that way !!!
Hi, yes I do sell the most latest versions. The old stuff no one really wants them.
Wow decent weight there mate👌 the other week I went to my first scrap trip, they only paid 7 cents per kg but I only had 200kgs on the trailer
It was a decent load thanks mate. 7c is quite low but nonetheless it's a good start. Where did you take your metal, maybe look around for a better price.
Transformer metals in north geelong , there slogan is there prices are the best in Geelong, I didn't really look around because I was in process of moving house . There's a few others that I was told to avoid but I guess depends on experience and building up a reputation.
@@smirkey90 Fair enough. Not sure what the prices around your area are but that's slightly low. I have changed few scrap yards in my time. At the end of the day we are all in it to make money and not get ripped off.
@@ScrapMetalTV. yeah well massive price difference just in steel, obviously they pay more in Melbourne because I know a few that travel with big loads like yours from up near Shepparton way. So must be a bit of a price difference but not that much surely.
The good thing about this place they offer free scrap bins to drop off at commercial or residential but maybe because they're buying steel so cheap.
Thanks for the input dude , much appreciated 👍
@@smirkey90 You're correct about the distance and pricing.
Shop around and I'm sure price will improve.
I'm happy to answer any questions. Cheers 👍
The only way to really make money is to grab all the metal
Agree to an extent. Some metals take too much room and are not really heavy. I've learnt to be slightly picky on what I grab these days. Everyone does it differently I guess 👍
Love your episode’s, I hope your worker helper isn’t family , as he doesn’t seem to listen to your instructions
Thank you 🙏
Actually he is my brother, that's why he doesn't listen 🤣
@@ScrapMetalTV. haha that does make sense siblings don’t listen ever 🤣
