Nicely done ✨ How many layers did you add to get that level of shine? And why use your finger to apply and not just straight from the chamois?

I don’t keep track of how many layers. But i don’t stack a lot of layers of polish on the leather. Better control using my finger vs the cloth to apply the polish.

Jonathan, doesnt it make the shoe feel and look plasticky? ( I think it does)

No A mirror shine creates more of a glass appearance on the leather.

So, basically the same way you polished shoes in the 50s.

At the six min. Mark please do not wrap the cloth like that…..reason why he’s the only one I’ve seen do its. Fact is other than being easy there’s no value.. one you leave lap marks
Two the cloth can never stay tight.
