All these tapess Big boss, fist of fury, green hornet, enter the dragon, game of death was always playing in in my vcr as a kid, and many other 70s and 80s kung fu movies. Great times as a kid.
Interesting fact: in case any of you guys didn’t know this. Most of the bad guys in most of the movies that Bruce lee stars in are his students in real life!
The dedication to never getting off balance and making every strike land. That in itself is enough to beat 99% of opponents, or at least earn their respect until smiles and bows
This fight scene in the dojo was amazing. It's an iron fist of anger. It was the strongest and the best. Also, in Hong Kong movies, the first nunchuck scene was also the best. And it is a work that I have a deep attachment to because it was the work that made me become a fan of Bruce Lee.
I can remember the first time watching Bruce Lee. It was The Big Boss, but at the time it was called Fists of Fury, on the theater Billing. My friends and I were all old enough to know that he couldn't really flatfoot an 8 to 10 foot wall, or was likely to whip 30 or so men at one time. We still had seen nothing quite like it. His movements were so fluid, balanced and fast, without a lot of camera tricks, I was hooked. I have watched many martial arts films and TV series, and still haven't seen anyone, or anything quite like him.
The nunchaku he learned from his friend, Danny Inosanto. It’s from the art of Kali (Filipino martial arts). It is called Tabak Toyok in Filipino. There was more Filipino martial arts in the basement scene of Enter The Dragon as well. I trained with Guro Inosanto, he told me.
@@universal3024oh for sure, the no-look backfist is one of the most iconic kung-fu film moves ever! My favorite version is Rafiki in the Lion King 😝 I just mean the shot itself in terms of cinematography and framing. That high Dutch angle with them all slowly circling him is one of the shots that kind or represents modern martial arts cinema.
@@HowManyTimes234 Toby maguire did it in spiderman 1 in the alley while rescuing Mary Jane😎. But I gotcha. Iconic shot. Yes that part is a beautifully filmed scene. Very tense and the soundtrack makes it even more suspenseful.
idgaf wut anyone says, this scene was about 50 yrs ago and it still holds up, bruce was and always will be the king of kung fu, the sultan of slaughter, the beast from the east, even more cool is that he actually hung out with blk ppl, he even grew up in the gangs back in his hometown.. til he came to America that is.. r.i.p. to the og master
Few people knew who Bruce Lee was until after he died and his Hong Kong movies hit American screens. The lines to get in theaters were long in 1973. I was a young GI the first time I saw this scene. When it was over, everyone was stunned. Someone then said, "Holy sht, Grasshopper." A reference to David Carridine's Kung Fu TV show a few years earlier, to an ovation.

You know I have heard about a youtuber named daetrix is making a show called the rise of the last dragon animated series based on the last dragon movie 🎬
That was born and raised in Los Angeles California we used to go downtown and go to the theaters and used to pay $1.00 to go see three movies. Yes...3 movies for $1.00. this was in the early 1970s... We used to go to the State theater the Los Angeles theater in the Roxy theater... In a couple of more I can't remember off hand... I'm 60 years old so anyway goes we used to have some fabulous movies but only one person we pay to get in and then me and my friends it be like six or seven of us we go around the back door the theater and come in free every time. Because only one person would pay then they will walk to the back of the theater and let everybody come in back in them days they didn't care about that stuff we didn't have no locks on the doors and all that old stuff. We used to walk from where we lived at downtown and back home we had a good time back in them days you just start walking down the street and everybody just start walking together having a good time it really was fun back in the older days.
The way the fat guy moves around @4:54 dude looks like a fuckin hamster 🐹 and Bruce’s footwork and movements are so fluent natural athletic and looks like he’s just flowing like water. King Fu is definitely no joke and is the most fluid style of fighting there is
4:50 - 5:01
"Ayaaa...woo woo hoohoohoo...yyyada...yada....oooooooooooWAAAA!"
LOL goddamn do I love Bruce noises
Once them nunchucks come out, all hell is gonna break loose.
"SO YOU WANNA SEE HOW GOOD YOU ARE, THEN YOU MUST BE TIRED OF LIVING" GREAT LINE TO USE ON SOMEONE YOUR PISSED AT.
I liked " This time you are eating paper... The next time it will be glass!" I wish this scene was extended to show that.

ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY!
If Bruce Lee enters your Dojo for some justice, its best to surrender immediately
I love it when he swings the two fake dummies around and then throws them, hilarious.
It was two cloned Jackie Chan..
2:23 Yeah, but notice that in the previous cut, he managed to lift both real actors off the ground for a split second.
@@carl_anderson9315 Your in denial. Karate is fake bro in real life he wouldn't last 30 seconds LoL
@@Michael-xr9qw You don't even know the difference between karate and kung fu
@@Michael-xr9qw lol by that logic kung fu is also fake. Any martial art at its full capacity can be lethal

hands down the best lee film imo

INTERESTING. 👍
"We are not sick men."
50 years dead. I learned of Lee's skills from my father. Love the old movies.
The dedication to never getting off balance and making every strike land. That in itself is enough to beat 99% of opponents, or at least earn their respect until smiles and bows
Every fight scene in this movie is fire! The greatest martial arts film of all time! Bruce Lee is legend! 🐉

Well it was extremely obvious.....

Shit! Could've been 6 for all we know. Movie magic 🤫
I know that nunchuck shit to the forehead hella hurted
Wow, he beat up a whole class of prideful fighters and knocked out their arrogant sensei in front of all of them.
That school’s morale is dead lol
I played Dummy #1, it was an honor to be stuffed and then swung around by Bruce Lee.
It's fucking hilarious when you play it at 2x faster 😂😂😂
I just tried it and your right. Its very funny. I usually watch the videos and even music with extra speed. It makes it funnier
I’m ctfu 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
5:50 Bruce Lee literally kicks teacher's ass.
are they seriously trying to do judo throws on bruce lee 😂
They couldn’t beat him when he using his bare hands, and then gets a pair of chucks, and they’re like, nah keep going. Lol

Playing this 2x faster is funny as shit especially the sound affects 🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:05 one of the most iconic shots in all of martial arts cinema

YEAH. THE WAY HE WENT TO GRAB HIM. WHAT KIND OF DUMB SHIT WAS THAT?
Chinese connection and fist of fury are 2 different movies
In Hong Kong this movie is titled Fists of Fury. The Big Boss is the original title for what was called Fists of Fury in the states
He needs an anime.
Fist of the North Star...kinda
I wouldn't mind watching an animated Bruce Lee series.
Hes got such Grace 🌄🙏
Bruce Lee said now you listen to me. I’ll only say it once. We are not sick men
He was in real life attacked by 6 Japanese Karateka at Narita airport. He was injured slightly in the elbow joint, but he beat them all equally.
If a man walks into a dojo and says “ you fight alone, or all together?” You are dealing with a legit badazz, it’s best to shut up and leave
