I was not happy with the coaching strategy of the first half. SD was mostly in their territory and not advancing the ball. Second half a little better. And when Morgan hurt her ankle, when they showed her on the side line she didn't have her ankle wrapped or anything. She a pro and deserved better. I will retract my comment on this if I hear she wasn't hurt too badly. Sheriden had a terrific game otherwise it would been a blow out! Come coach, coach better.
Ya Ik even tho im kinda late I’ve been re watching waves highlights ….Alex did barely anything especially in this game like McCaskill gave her a amazing ball and she barely got a good shot the first time and kinda let her team down aside from hurting her ankle could’ve scored on that first shot but got a lazy touch
Last two-year, San Diego seemed tired at the end of the season, but their enthusiasm was evident and pull them through the play off (fell short) but looked like contenders. This Year, they seem already tired, the enthusiasm is not there; they don't look like contenders anymore.
Nowadays, the best teams are those that dominate (boss) the midfield specially if combined with a good defense. San Diego defense is not bad, but if you are defending all the time...eventually is going to brake. a) crowd the midfield; better defending in the middle of the field than in front of your own goal line. b) The way San Diego was built up: no midfield. They went for old big names, it's showing now. c) This sport is running and hustle, the younger the midfield the better (there are exception: Marta). Give your assessment: how to help this San Diego team that is falling apart.
I agree, san diego never really got any good forward passes. They didnt exactly look as energetic as pride either. They kept possesion for a while right up until they got to the final third and that was where they lost possesion every single time. If they attempted shots from a little further out they might've gotten somewhere
Looked old and slow. Looking at the recent African and Brazilian signings league wide, it's moving in a different direction and the Wave seem to be left behind. I think Shaw is not loving McCaskill. Looks disinterested at times.
Jugando como siempre the Wave. Con una media cancha lenta, sin ideas y sin precisión en los pases. Una delantera aislada, donde los balones no le llegan. 😢
Marta is still playing, incredible
Welcome to the San Diego Wave, Maria Sanchez ⚽

Babra Banda Welcome to the NWS League
Teniendo jugadoras de calidad y una entrenadora timorata.

Barbra come on you can do better, i mean those chances
Good start for BB 11/22.
Poor game by San Diego to many lazy passes intercepted by Orlando to many give aways. Doesn’t seem they had there minds in this game at all
morgan was awesome to-day!!!!.

Girma was flat all game until they subbed her 😢 in 58min mark. Not good for USWNT right now.
Obviously not 100%. Look at her body of work. Not worried about her status on the US squad. It's a few months away.
Se me olvidava lo más importante, una entrenadora que no sabe que hacer. 😢
Why even post highlights to that game when there was none ? 🤷🤦

When will USWNT and WAVE recognize that Morgan is more than a step slower and kick and run doesn’t work? Her style is no longer effective.
if she starts in the up comming olympics-they wont pass the group stage-matchs!!!.
Too many lazy passes
