Honestly, I’m glad COD is trying new things again. I miss the events from BO3-BO4, although people hated supply drops I really enjoy each event they made and cosmetics dropped in those events.
Say what you will about cod games sticking to their style (I want Treyarch to that for bo6) but I wouldn't mind that being sledgehammers sort of style with crazy customizations or old ww2 guns in a futuristic game for example. They should draw the line at some point but eh.

You do realize that even if to change the shotgun from pump action to semi you needed an attachment you can still change them during the match so you would still be able to switch mid match.
