    A brilliant tutorial, although I have a photo from Norway in the winter, lots of snow and a clear crisp blue sky. Most of the snow has that grayish lilac tone with ski/slit tracks in. With that brilliant texture of fresh snow fall.. Wanting to recreate that faithfully.

    Why not use polymer medium to thin out hb paint for the ground?

    • @willkempartschool
      @willkempartschool  8 лет назад +1

      +bastet469 Hi Bastest469, I want the ground colour to still retain its absorbency for the next layer of paint, so diluting with water gives a better surface quality for this method.

    Will, I would like to see a demo on how to paint the desert landscape. Can you recommend a demo for me. Thank you so much for your help. I am an intermediate acrylic Plein air artist. Phyllis

      Hi Phyllis, I don't currently have any demos on the desert landscape, but working with a limited earth palette can achieve some really lovely desert scenes.
      Cheers,
      Will
