Samsung has an idea to use a second 200MP in 3x telephoto in the future, getting rid of 5x also. This might seem like a downgrade of them switching from 10x to 5x, but they're just following their plans of ultra-high resolution Isocell sensors implementation.

I think Samsung should've changed the 10MP 10x zoom camera to a 50MP 6-7x zoom camera. I'm sure it would've been the best of both worlds, since the 6-7x zoom range is well-covered while being able to do 12MP crop to 12-14x.
That's what I was thinking the 3x lense could be made 50 mega pixels so it can cover up to 7x, and then they could do an 8x 50mp lens that can actually zoom to 100x with decent detail. I think that would be the best combination. I would say a 7x lens, but 7 is an ugly number 😂

in theory the detail should be the same since a 5x 50mp at 10x is about the same as 10mp at native 10x, so i think it's just not optimized properly. you could probably get a better result by manually adjusting focus and lowering the exposure (in full auto)

i think i's a better idea to have more detail on 5x because you just play around with th 100x, on the other hand, you take real portraits with the 5x, so it's better
But at that point you will notice that the same issues s23 ultra had applies, where 3× to the next sensor shots are bad because the camera relies on the 3× until the new magnification kicks in.

I think Samsung should have opted for a 4x camera with a larger sensor with higher resolution like 16mp. Then increase the sensor size of the 10x camera with 50mp. The 200mp can cater for 1x-3.9x That would have made the zoom quality good at all zoom levels

But one benefit is that any zoom from 5x to 9.9x is now much cleaner than before. (because after 5x it uses the 5x lens instead of the 3x lens like previously) And the 10x is still pretty close
Ive been using s24ultra . I just want to say that the photo ive been taken to s24ultra was natural compare to iphone15promax and s23ultra was a bit washout color
I wish they will make the Note smaller. Every Note from Note 9 is a great phone!
As a photographer I definitely prefer the 5X over the 10 x. The 5X is like having an 85 mm lens which is when my favorite focal lengths for portraits
85mm full frame or APS-C? I disagree as a photographer with 15 years of experience. I think this is a step back.
@@PhazonBlaxor well why do you disagree?
@@Sionicjustice Because your numbers are wrong. The 3x lens is 69mm and 5x is 115mm. So it's not like having a 85mm lens, 3x is closer to your "favorite" focal length. And once again: in which format is it your favorite? APS-C? Full frame? It's very different zoom level depending on which you shoot at.
Samsung should have these combos :- 200mp primary, 108mp ultra wide, 108mp 5x and 108mp 15x with 200x digital zoom
Your way of speaking is very awesome I want to learn speaking like you look most amazing which saying this is a Samsung s24...😂😂😂
This is kinda relief 🥲
But 5x is better, which is more important than 100x
I'd like to see the difference in a darker environment too.
Wait for some software updates also result differs according to the environment.
I think Samsung should have opted for a 4x camera with a larger sensor with higher resolution like 16mp.
Then increase the sensor size of the 10x camera with 50mp.
The 200mp can cater for 1x-3.9x
That would have made the zoom quality good at all zoom levels
They have 1 nice extra spot for the 6th lens so they should've keep the 10× and increase specs ofc and add the 5×
I have never missed a single video of yours. Buying a big super phone like apple 15 pro max and samsung s24 ultra is just a dream for us. At least you can't buy an apple iPhone 11. These phones are very expensive in this country. If someone gives a good phone like this as a gift, he is lucky. I am currently using a Samsung type smart phone worth about 25000 in Sri Lankan currency🤕. My favorite aspect is the photography and videography side. Buying the right camera and a good computer is like an expensive dream. I am still 18 years old. Still going to school. I am really sad and sorry for Sri Lanka where I live. Really sad about Sri Lanka 😪💔🥀.
No need to get a new phone every year keeping my s23 ultra untill like 2028 or end of support.
Thank you for being the 5000th comment saying this exact same thing. Nobody cares. Keep your S23 Ultra.
@bailey2517 not really, they could upgrade the 3x lend to 50mp and the 10x to 12mp and its was the best
What is the point to use the 3x lens?
They could just did what sont did
They was wrong in my opinion and should left the 10x lens
@@bailey2517 cry
@@SigalDa I think RUclips deleted my comment 🙄 but I agree. But the 5x 50mp is still an upgrade considering most people don't use much more than 10x zoom regularly. I thing they should use a 50mp 3x and a 50mp 8x lens.
@@realCriminalLawyer I ain't crying 😂
I upgraded from the s20 fe 5g too an s24 ultra and the difference is insane
Ah yes... the S20 4.0 ultra
Samsung now should give us an 1 inch sensor lens. Fuck 5X
Okay, but can it record you doing the thug shake?
Asking the real questions
Most people would be using a zoom below 10x in which case the 5x 50mp is better. Even at 10-20x the 5x 50mp is good enough
Bloopers.....have you ever dropped during the intros 😂😂
seriously there's no worth and point on upgrading from 23 to 24 but it's worthy if u have 22 or 21 or more previous models
I wish I can upgrade my s21 to s24u this year
There's an update this week before it's released released
Bro was holding back tears (its a joke take it as a joke! Respect XD)
This would be great gift to give to my parents 2 S24 ultra
100x was never usable anyways , most used zoom range is 1x-10x so I am with samsung for this change and the shots look amazing, even the 10x is not bad when compared to the s23
Idk if I'm wrong but I'm curious you always wear cap in your every shorts videos soo how will you look like if you don't wear that cap
If I'm missing something please anyone inform me
Every year I think how are the current cameras going to get better..
the old Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has 5x telefoto camera but it can only zoom up to 50x
Samsung gon be mad till the vivo x100pro plus drops💀
Might?....I think defo 😊
Which mobile is best bro
The 24U deff eins the 10x while we're back to square 1 on the 100x zoom. Just like it was on the s20 U
SAMSUNG GALAXY S24 ULTRA 🤩🤩🤩👍
They could also have added a 10X Telephoto Lens along with the 5X Lens... 😮
@imparkerburton Be honest with us: Will the Galaxy S24 AI feature go behind a paywall by 2025?
afaik no
only 3rd party apps have to pay for it after 2025
Those process locally on the chip likely won't. Those that require cloud server like the Google Gemini probably because it costs roughly 700,000 US to operate those a day for billions of users.
Based on the daily operational cost of ChatGPT
@AmericanKetchup. Just saw that "*Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices. Different terms may apply for AI features provided by third parties.
" That's not ok! I wish Samsung was more transparent with customer on this! No one reads the fine prints! and no content creator is talking about it! :/ @imparkerburton
That's what I noticed today 10x vs 5x and less options offered than s23 ultra
S23 ultra it gave more details though this is why I like it.
I think we will have to wait for them to add more filters and stuff to the camera with artificial intelligence through updates to the galaxy S24 ultra since they are betting a lot on artificial intelligence and it will most likely improve over time. Personally, I prefer the S23 ultra
I saw smoother detail with the S24
The jump from 23 to 24 is minimal... Not having that "wow" thing. The jump from s22 to s23 was actually nice
