I thought the Tozo's were great, apart from the accidental touches, as you mentioned. I also agree that the sound on the c40i's is very dependent on the positioning. I also found them quite uncomfortable. I would only use this form factor if you can't get on with hook style.
Bought the Soundcore, TOZO and QCY Crosskey C30. Took back the Soundcore quite quickly. Very uncomfortable. Ears got very sore from wearing them. Had a friend have the same problem. Button is great. Sound wasn’t great. Same issue as one of the reviewers. I kept the TOZO. The lack of multipoint isn’t great. But I don’t worry about that at my factory job. Get plenty loud and the sound is quite good. Can wear my entire 8 hour shift no problem. The QCY at $36 are really good. Better like not as good the TOZO. But sound and loudness are comparable. Just as comfortable and have multi point control. I have 2 pair of these. One for work and one for home.
I have the JLab Flex and Soundcore C30i. The flex looses connection frequently and the equalizer doesn’t effect the sound enough to be satisfactory. The C30i work better for my preferences.
I'm currently looking for an open earbud and my top two choices are huawei freeclips and the nothing ear open. Out of these two options what would you recommend? I will mainly use them in Bed/Sleeping and wearing under a helmet while skiing and biking. Which do you think fits my usecase better?
No way. They don’t do anything better than any other. Don’t even think about buying them. Get the Huwaei. If money is an issue go with the TOZO or one that I really like is the QCY Crossky C30. Don’t waste your money on the Bose

Easily freeclips. Sooo good . Well done Huawei .been using them for a very long time and they even added volume gestures
@@SibTiger33 Freeclips are amazing. Sound quality is superb and reliability best in class. Just pricey.

Kinda confusing cos sleeping may work better with clip style and helmet with a hook style.
What if the Bose and Huawei were the same price?
Still Huawei. Unless you don't care about call quality
Bose are $225 now, worth it?

Never.
@@Matt-fd9hcCrosskey is great. Good sound etc. But the control surface is poor. Much worse than Huawei.
When are you guys reviewing the QCY ones?
Nope
