As someone who read the manwa, I like the detail that the order in which a few key events took place: He said "Arise" The system then saved that as a command word The shadows began to rise The shadows rose without him saying "Arise" after the system accepted the command word. Its almost like it was a test itself to be worthy of the shadow monarch title.
I couldn't wait with the anime and ended up reading the whole webtoon. I felt like a little kid again, it's simple, very exciting and just perfect for me and i'm looking forward to seeing how the anime will turn out out! Rest in peace Jang Sung Rak, and thank you for the wonderful story
The best part is that the story only gets better as it progresses. People complaining about how slow the first season is, should really read the manhwa.
Because of the text in the manhwa. It’s just not the same in the anime, nor can I fault the studio for this. This was supposed to be the equivalent of “I Am Atomic” in Eminence in Shadow.
