Amen! I didn’t realize I was repeating something written in scriptures “woman is the glory of man”. The beautiful creation of man revealed in women. BUT! where it says “because of the messengers” the first time I can recall something that connects to The Book of Enoch concerning the Watchers before hearing the end.
Peter speaks about the watchers changed up in prison, 2Pe 2:4, 1Pe 3:19-20. Leviticus speaks about Azazel, though most many translations do not put his name and instead put "scapegoat" in Lev 16:8-10. And there is the classic Genesis 6 when it speaks of the sons of God literally going with the daughters of men as the video mentioned. :)
Greetings although I cover, sometimes I am praying with women who don’t cover do I say Amen afterwards when they pray? Also what does it mean to dishonor the man? Thank you for your response
Greetings. Biblically speaking there is nothing wrong with you saying amen. But, If you feel convicted otherwise, you should seek Jesus on why, find out what the wisdom is behind that feeling. Maybe He is showing you something, or maybe it is just a lying feeling. Jesus will make that clear. At the end of the day agreeing with a prayer is agreeing with a prayer, not so much agreeing with the practices of the people. Though I understand why you would feel such away, especially if those people have been corrected and refuse to cover. Dishonoring man means to disrespect, bring shame or bring disgrace to him. Today a lot of people do not care, but that is because of ignorance, unbelief, belief in lies/false doctrines, etc... On a practical level, a woman not covering her head, is not covering her glory; this can be dishonouring to a man. A man covering his head is covering the glory of God, which would be dishonouring to Christ. Also a woman not covering is a shame for her as well, in this case, she is praying like a man. Did this help at all?
Brother Andrew does this also apply to younger women as well?? And I know you had said that Paul didn't command us to wear head coverings all the time but Paul also said to pray without ceasing so do you think he would have us as women to have our head covered at all times since he says to never stop praying??
Yes this applies to all women, just as the opposing instruction not to cover ones head when praying and prophesying applies to all men. As for praying without ceasing, I understand this verse to mean do not stop praying until you have prayed all the way through. I do not know anyone on the planet that spends 24/7 praying and never ceasing. When I asked Jesus about this, the example He gave me were times where I got up from prayer too soon, He explained to me that we ought to pray through until we are dismissed by the Holy Spirit. I know others who have had similar testimonies to this. But as for praying all the time 24/7, I remember one time I went to go pray and Jesus stopped me, because He wanted me out on the streets evangelizing, He had some people for me to speak to, praying was not what He wanted me doing at that time. Also, in my heart, I was trying to use praying as an excuse to not go out at the time LOL. Anyway, I think you get the point. So that is my understanding on this verse, if I am incorrect regarding this matter, I am open to hear otherwise. Now I know there are times we have to throw up prayers through out the day, as we do end up praying through out the day and even night. I know women who simply walk with a head covering, often times it may be a scarf or some other type of covering that acts as another piece of clothing (not only a head covering), so they may not be wearing it all the time. I have seen some pretty creative things Jesus has inspired some sisters to do.
I'm going to take a swing here and say even though I'm not in the presence of man or have a man in my life, praying with my head uncovered is still going against Jesus instructions.
Our hair is given as our covering, which is why you don’t find women of Israel (Jacob’s children) who are praying, prophesying, and speaking to angels. For example, Judith prayed and communed with the Father before decapitating Holoferness and never once did it say she covered her hair. Moreover, Huldah, Miriam, Miriam, Hannah etc....never stated they put on cloth on their heads. Mary never covered her hair when the angel spoke to her. Our hair is our strength and power which is why women are considered more spiritual than man. We don’t cut our hair if choosing to make a Nazarite vow. Moreover, Proverbs 12:4 states a woman (wife) is the crown (protector) of her husband and as you study scriptures through the precepts....we learn women are the protectors just like the Father and our Mother (Honor thy Father & Mother - our heavenly parents). The Bible is spiritual not carnal.
Hey Sherene, You said, "Our hair is given as our covering," I am not sure if you watched the video or not, but @2:11 (the second chapter of the video, if you use the RUclips chapter system), I begin to go through 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 with what Jesus instructed through Paul. In this chapter, @7:45 I explicitly go through this subject of "God giving women hair for (i.e. "as") a covering", with the Greek concordance, proving that the Bible does not teach God gave women "hair" for a covering, as in hair _as_ a covering. It says God gave women hair _instead of_ a covering, which means they need to cover their head/hair like Paul previously instructed. I believe what the scripture says is explicitly clear. So I am not sure what it is you do not agree with here when examining the literal words spoken in this instruction. So in case I am missing something here, I ask that you please review this chapter of this video again and especially this part about this subject and please let me know where you see any error. As for the rest of what you stated, "For example, Judith prayed and communed with the Father before decapitating Holoferness and never once did it say she covered her hair. [...]" Your right in the fact that Judith does not cover her head when praying, even in chapter 9, Judith put ashes on her head instead. But here is the situation, Judith lived under the laws of Moses, Moses never gave head coverings as an instruction, as a law, as I said in the video in chapter 5 (that starts @22:59). Regardless, even if Moses did, it is irrelevant, as we do not follow the laws of Moses, as that was the Old Covenant. Jesus in this _New Covenant,_ through His Apostle Paul, has commanded head coverings for women and commanded men not to cover their heads. So using Judith or any women from the Old Covenant, including Mary as an example of why women do not need to cover their heads, when praying and prophesying, in the New Covenant, is not valid. The reason why it is not valid is because in the Old it was not an instruction given; in the New it is an instruction given. So if you are going to address this and say women should not cover their heads when praying and prophesying or that it is optional and has no spiritual consequences, you are going to have to explicitly explain the instruction given in 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 and explain what it means, as I did in this video. From what I saw and displayed, it is a clear cut instruction for women to cover their heads, as not covering dishonurs men, it leaves the glory of man uncovered before God, and leaves women more open to bad situations with messengers. "We don’t cut our hair if choosing to make a Nazarite vow." Nazarite Vows are part of the Law of Moses, so this does not override any New Covenant instructions. If someone chooses to do a Nazarite vow in this covenant, great, but that vow is not greater than the instructions laid out by Jesus (who Moses commanded us to follow), through His Apostles, who are the foundation of the New Covenant church and Jesus being the chief corner stone. And Paul's point in instructing to shave the hair of a woman who does not want to cover, was given in expectation women would cover. Also he said, if it is a shame for them to be shaved (which would include the Nazarite vow), they should cover their hair if they do not want to cut it. So this argument is also not valid to support not covering your hair or shaving because you have taken a Nazarite vows, those who take that vow, should cover their hair, as Paul said. "Moreover, Proverbs 12:4 states a woman (wife) is the crown (protector) of her husband and as you study scriptures through the precepts....we learn women are the protectors just like the Father and our Mother (Honor thy Father & Mother - our heavenly parents). The Bible is spiritual not carnal." Well Proverbs 12:4, the context of this crown is not protection, but glory and honour. If you read the full verse it is talking about glory/honour verses shame/disgrace: _Pro 12:4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones._ _Pro 12:4 A woman of virtue is a crown to her lord, but one causing shame is like rottenness in his bones._ This has nothing to do with head coverings and does not void Jesus instruction through Paul to the church in the New Covenant. A woman is the _crown_ being _the GLORY_ of her husband, as Jesus through Paul said (and as I pointed out in the video as well): 1Co 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head completely covered, because he is the image and glory of God, *but the woman is the glory of the man.* [CROWN] 1Co 11:8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man; 1Co 11:9 for man was not created for the woman, but woman for the man. As I said before, if it is true women do not have to cover their heads when praying and prophesying, the best place for you to start to prove this, is explaining the commandment given in 1Co 11:2-16; you will have to show how this is optional or should not be done. Using OT references are not valid, because the Old Covenant is gone, (and according to Hebrews, it was weak and not perfect, we are in a New one now). You are going to have to some how refute or prove that Jesus instruction through Paul for this New Covenant does not mean what is clearly written. P.S. God commanded men to not cover their heads when praying and prophesying, sometimes men get tempted to cover; I have experienced this. It goes both ways, it seems women have a larger issue with this. What is nuts, is Paul indicated a reason for women, which include messengers. It makes sense that a women who does not obey, can end up with false messengers of light, which bind them. I believe this is why there is such an issue with women and submitting to this instruction, even though men in the same way have to submit to the instruction given to them. Jesus bless you.
Thank you. This also was taught in the early church
Amen, Jesus bless you.
Things put so clear. Thank you.

Yes it is. It does not say cover when a man is present, and the reason concerning the angels has nothing to do with the presence of men.
