Being A 16 year old teenager back in 1997 who bought this on cassette is what brought me here 22 years later. Woo!...I’m still in disbelief that ‘97’ was 22 years ago.
Most definitely. Oh how I wish I recorded, wrote down, and embraced those days even more. But yes, looking back at those videos are so nostalgic. At times I too get teary eyed. But at least we experienced good times. Well, let's just enjoy the present for now. Take care.
Our club sat on the beach, with a window-less inside, and an outdoor cabana bar.. Sitting outside, rolling with your friends, with the night time ocean breeze blowing across the back of your neck,...brings goosebumps all over again.
Frank... I feel you man. I'm 47 and I tell my 23yr old son that my best days of clubbing... lol.. was in the 90s. Wowwwww!! So much fun!! Also back in the day it was Jocelyn Enrique... Daft punk.. prodigy.. Daft punk.. sonique.. release me by Angelina.. just to name a few. Those were the days.. having fun and just dancing like no tomorrow. Rob base and Gwen Stefani was at a rave I went to as well in the 90s....
DDR Max back in the days only had like a one minute version of this song and I played the crap out of the song because its so amazing. Watching videos of DDR brought me here because I wanted to hear all of this excellence!!!
Same. I used to think this song was kinda boring as a kid. But, just a sign of the stepchart not doing the majority of this song justice lol. All about that 16ths slowdown at the end 😆
Ahh man I remember being a teenager in the early 2000s living in Florida listening to the Tampa radio station playing house, trance, techno, dance music like this and wishing I was older to be at the clubs to experience this moment with this song.
Narinig ko na ''to noong bata pa lmang ako. Nakita ko lng ung title sa Wikipedia at npa-search ako sa YT kasi parang pamilyar sa akin ung title ng kanta. 😁
Gave me mad goosebumps. Helped fuel my club years that were to come. Hanging out with DJs, Club promoters, trendsetters that helped set the ambiance for some of todays club scene, and lets not forget the sick houseparties. Much love for those who still rememer ❤

@@chrissyfey473 I am from the Bahamas and used to spend every summer in Yonkers, New York by my grandmothers house, not wanting to go outside but armed with my blank cassette tape listening to 103.5 KTU waiting to record good music to take back to my country :-)
I was in New Jersey when this was really popular. Anyone else from the east coast reminiscing about the late 90's Early 2000's club/rave scene? We knew HOW TO F*CKING DANCE!!
Back then I would fall asleep every night with my Sony walkman blasting this type of music in my ears. Fast forward 30 years, I have tinnitus and I don't care. 👍
People who hate on late 90s-early 2000s dance/trance music are missing a chromosome or something. I was born in 1991 so I missed out on the club scene back then, but the club music was soooo much better than it is now. Still listen to this type of stuff all the time
@@KnowledgeSeeker78491 huge fan of disco too. The Studio 54 station on satellite radio is awesome. Totally agree. A lot of what they call "EDM" these days I personally find to just be mind-numbing noise, where people just bob their heads and pound their fists. At least here in America. There are a select few sets/good venues that come around with the vibes that I dig, but for the most part Europe still knows what it means to dance lol.
Nothing wrong with a lil extacey. "A lil bit of you and me." It'll set you free, temporarily. To be clear. It's not a lifestyle but an awesome moment in time. Know reality.

Being in a club in the 90's while this is bumping loud ASF, nothing like it!!
Literally, her best produced song on this whole album!
Had the pleasure of meeting her in 2001 at a beachfront freestyle concert in Wildwood NJ. She gave my little boy a hug and signed his tee shirt.
2024 still slapn this and more free style beats
I miss this kinda music so nostalgic im literally in tears . These were the good days man
