I have the USA version of this bike - the 2015 XC-W 300, great bike, mine now has over 200 hours on it so its definitely not looking this fresh anymore, but it still runs like an absolute champ. The 2015 and 2016s were real lookers with that orange frame!
The Capricorn If so I'd like to ask something. Why do you think ktm doesn't offer any bigger displacement 2 stroke bikes? Is it because of the restrictions in motocross and enduro?
I've seen so many videos similar to this on different bikes where people put the camera up against the exhaust pipe while the bike is running 3:17... What is the point of this?
how long does a 300 exc live with normal use of throttle and no race driving only weekly use ? i am so curious wether i should buy 2 stroke or 4 stroke
MoritzM. keep in mind the two strokes are easier with maintenance but always require oil mixed in with the fuel, so whenever you fill up you have to first mix it with oil. In general 4strokes are better for normal riding, but if you are going to buy an enduro bike solely for commuting etc i would not recommend it. However if you are rich and want something to mess about on get a two stroke 300 and a street bike for commuting!
jorge mtb it doesn't let the fuel flow from tank because when bike is standing it tens to leak fuel if tap not closed, it also usually have reserve position which you have to open when running low on fuel.
Power Is about the same, 300 not to far behind. Torque is very noticeable IF you get grip with rear tire:) But the 300 is updated every year until this day. Much more rideable than the 380.
Super duper fucking kill your ears loud. A friend of mine has the 2015 argentina sixdays 300 exc supermoto with the powerparts pipe and it fucking kills your ears. But the power it delivers is amazing so you can forgive the sound

+Honda Cr 500 I did, but i meant that it cant idle to low, its better when it runs a bit higher when its new. "break" the rings..
