    Thanks Naim for your video. I had given up on my old speakers exposed to the elements at the beach. You have just given them new lives. Thanks again.

    how do you remove/take out the grill from the speaker. my grill have rust spots and I cannot figure out how to remove the grill. thank you for the nice video and sharing the knowledge.

    Electrical connections should get some kind of grease applied to seal out moisture. Curious how to get the grilles off without damaging / mangling them.

    Hanna, you can take an awl or a pic and try prying on the grill on each corner. slowly pry off the grill. hopefully that helps. you can ask me any questions you may have. Thank you

      Is the speaker grill held on with glue? I got an insignia looks same as yours...trying to open it without cracking it.

      I used a sharp thin blades knife to “score” around the edges

      no they were corroded very badly so I couldn't get the nut off. thanks for commenting.
