Unfortunately, the devs said there is only one last update on this game left. It's probably gonna be big but after that they will abandon this and work on a second version of this game called AB: A which is hopefully better. There was a public test of it too some months ago u can watch a yt video about it.

As a bonus in the Bonus category for Alternate Battlegrounds, there are titles and capes you can get from War, Wars are fought between character nations, which means every character has its own nation Ex, polycromia(gaster nation, SSC nation(i forgot what its called). and the gaster nation is the enemy of everyone💀, its very deep if you go into it. and TRY UNDERTALE LAST CORRIDOR its like a good game :D
the battle mechanic is very unique and I love the undertale and deltarune characters. but i think a tsb themed game with these character would also be fun

I generally dislike GT frisk. Just thought I’d throw that out. Also, if you’re wondering why purple did no damage it’s because it literally erases things instantly. So, it doesn’t work on dummies so you can’t perma kill them.
Alternate battlegrounds! is a very good game i used to play since 2022 It is a very intertaining game to play i play with Frisk'itd a very underratedgame to me and this video reminds me of 2022 days when this awesome game came out :D Thanks for remjnding me of it ❤

It was a game based of an even previous undertale fighting game call “soul shatters” (that game dead as hell). So bottom line, comparing the games is like comparing apples to oranges. Still nice video, just wanted to let you know the games are not similar or made to be similar in any way.

There have been alot of other games similar to AB, such as UTPR (Undertale Test Place Reborn) and Undertale Final showdown, which is a more bullet hell type game, but I personally think AB is the best of them, due to the simple and fast animations and attacks, which makes the game feel more fast paced but smooth, similar to UTPR, but its alot smoother, following the aesthetic of Soulshatters, the first game of this type, I call it the pioneer of undertale pvp games. I've been playing AB since Snowdin, one of the maps before Waterfall, (The current map AB is using) back then AB was in its prime, alot more chaos, and alot more fun. I mained Cross before his downfall, all the way since Akuma. (The custom skin for Asgore) And speaking of custom skins, there are a total of 5 custom skins, not counting the ones you aren't able to obtain or wasnt added to the roster of skins, Akuma - Asgore Player - Cross Vergil - GTFrisk Color and NMM (Nightmare Mode) - Sans. The other unobtainable ones, Goku Black - Cross (Unreleased skin) Void Gaster - Gaster (Unreleased event skin) I'm a long time player of AB, though recently I quit because I no longer had players to fight, which I know most of my other veteran "Abians" can relate to, I hope all you new Abians can enjoy the game as we did, don't bother to read the lore, it's basically drama between nations and devs.
Finally someone finally realize this game is good 😭 Edit 1: I have about 1k kills in it and now my skill in this game pretty God vs Hacker vs PRo vs NOob 💀 Also if u want the skin then u need to grind the kill lol and the combo is 100% harder than tsb combo for the flashy one lolol
It’s kinda unfair to compare these games since they’re not the same type of game, yes they both say battlegrounds but the mechanics are completely different. Plus ab can get really repetitive and on the other hand tsb is still mildly fun with lack of updates.
brooooo they HAVE to add killer sans as sans skin but noo of course they had to add it to x!frisk that doesn't even know who killer sans is like its not hard to make him a sans you already have sharp bones and blasters ready and for the ult you can do that thing killer do in x!tale like its makes his blaster bite it and thant activates blaster
every Undertale Battlegrounds are better than TSB, but harder to adapt, most of the games have more than 5 abilities, wich makes hard to adapt, but they still better, ngl
Well, the game is not fair, PCs have more advantages than Mobilers, but there was no difference. when Roblox released an update that made the game suffer from a bug. This bug has wiped out mobilers, and unfortunately we live in the deepest darkness, being defeated by PC proplayers.
UTPR and AB are like the kids of soulshatters a old game what have the same way to fight UTPR a more fast combat and AB more of learning how is the way that fight your enemie
The reason why the games dying: 1 lack of updates 2 new ppl not understanding 3 no tutorial 4 ppl who play the game wants skins making them farm a noob

Ok man, i laughed, good joke, calling the mid not even a battlegrounds game which is terrible in many ways and has fights lasting longer than 10 minutes as well as painstakingly the most boring combat ever, which was made even worse by them literally making pb impossible (you cant block after m1s). Also they put kj in their game and made it even more p2w than tsb, so yea nah this game sucks even more than tsb. Im saying this as a guy who has over 1k kills in it
I respect the opinions but tbh it is not as actively worked on as the strongest battlegrounds. If you combine development and other aspects the game is relatively good. I think both games r great. But I’m just suggesting an alternative game to play that has really good animations. Also a prevention against teamers.

I used to main it and if players are close to the same skill level. It is just reliant on who gets the first hit.
