I suffer from manic depression, General anxiety, anorexia, OCD, PTSD of emotional and verbal abuse, gender Dysphoria, and suicidal thoughts. I feel worthless, useless, stupid, ugly, and broken on the daily. The only person who understood my scars was my brother and he died. And this song is literally saving my life. So insane story : I was scrolling through my youtube home page just now and this apparently got clicked on though I didn't click on it and here we are. Now this is insane, because I've been in such a depressive and dark hole here lately. I've tried reaching out to people and they've all just rolled their eyes at me or ignored me and called me a baby. Now imagine me at this point in time coming across this song by a random chance?? How insane and epic! I want to cry tears of joy from how noticed and heard this makes me feel. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for making this song.

I used to sing this song to my girlfriend all the time, she had bad anxiety and was depressed a lot. she used to hide it and lies about it, she used to be scared of getting better (when you run from the light within your eyes) she used to hurt herself(when you think that I don’t notice all those scars) we were our world. we were alone together, going through this. this song is literaly about me and her.. she had a very bad vision of herself, but i admire her for she was so strong to go through all this and was a beautiful human being, always helping others. i was just (hoping that she will see herself
Like I see her). she had all kind of dreams in her head, she painted very good but was too anxious about publishing any, she wanted to travel, but was scared to leave her safe zone at home, she loved every little thing, from the ant to the human. no mather what she was going through, i was there with her and i loved her, even more than myself. maybe to much. i was sacrificing everything to support her, but at one point i guess she view this support more as a father figure than a lover one and left me from someone else. without batling an eye, without looking back, cutting everything we had, i cant even talk to her anymore.. and now i sing this song to myself, as i had become like her. hiding the pain or lying about it. dont want to get better cause it mean that i moved on from her and i dont want it, *cutting* myself with thought. If I had listened, paid attention to what was in front of me, things would probably be pretty different. When I first heard this, I cried so hard. I knew it was a message from my spirit guides.
