Never thought I'd see anyone mention ingress again lol It was fun, too bad i live in hell (Switzerland) where no one knows about it, and as such it doesn't really function correctly.
I owe my overall health to Ingress. It got me moving out of the house when I was going through a bad time I'm my life. Met a lot of great people. It was a great community while it lasted. Now that I think about it, long story short Ingress motivated me to start my own hobby/business making ingress Decals to start. Self taught graphic design that led me to 3D printing.

As crappy as 2020 has been, seeing a new wave of creative people making videos on their quirky interests has been awesome and has been giving me the motivational kick to get on the horse myself. It's popped in my head every time I watch either of your videos and I just had to get it out. Keep up with the great stuff

Thought you said 2.5K subscribers, looks more like over 3K :-) Now how hard would it be to incorporate prescription type optics? You know for those of us that ware glasses not for the wearable but for the seeing :-)
Neat question - the original Moverio can be worn over glasses, and even comes with a clip-on frame that accepts prescription lenses. My mod brings the prism too close to my eye to wear over glasses, but the hardware can be built to do so. Also, I didn't expect so many folks to be into electronics!
Hour of trying to find a break out board for remote control with 10 pins in stead of 8 that I can buy in my city must have influenced the algorithm and it brought me here! Thank you time wasting algorithm affecting searching. I am so glad to have found such a cool channel!

yeah man, I am looking for something like this since forever, by now it should be possible to look and weigh like ordinary thickframe glases, what might be the holdup?
Probably the only options are buy the full package or use a 128x64 transparent OLED carefully glued to a pair of glasses and breakout from there. Smart glasses aren't profitable, but I hear Google might be giving it another go soon as the acquired a company called North who manufactured Focals. Unlikely to be open source but since when do we care about limits

This brings up an interesting question: how do you feel about apple glass? Cool because it'll be a widespread wearable computer, or bad because obviously it'll be an exclusive apple product?
I had always wanted to make a heads up display, and using your designs as inspiration (as well as newfound knowledge of the existence of the Epson Moverio BT-200 and their prices on eBay), I have finally done it (as opposed to my previous design, which involved writing a hacky VNC sorta app for a fitbit that didnt really go as planned). Thank you! Love your vids btw, the creative nerd juices are strong with you
Edited: You might wanna time your uploads better. Before 8pm Eastern Time is optimal, so you get the most prime time coverage within the immediate day. Watch time % from your core audience is significantly more important than likes with the RUclips algorithm. Don't solicit likes, solicit watch time. To keep watchers through the mid-roll ad, time it so the mid-roll happens before the most interesting part of the video. Use b-roll to break up irrelevant camera sequences (such as monolouges) down to no more than 7 second. Viewers engagement require new visual stimulus or emotional connection constantly. Visual stimulus is easier to provide than an incredible written script. I highly recommend the book "How to Shoot Video that Doesn't Suck"
Absolutely love your channel. Just bought a Creality Ender 3V2 and been adding all the mods to it. Your channel has incredible content, very helpful. Absolutely, love your teleprompter hack, I want one! Keep the great content coming!
