As said many times before a sad day for Southend Airport and all the crews and employees, thanks for capturing the last landing. Just checked the movements for today Ryanair 3 flights ! Hopefully Easy will return some time soon.
Having flown on a regular basis to Alicante with EZY @ SEN from 2012 through to 2020 this is a very sad day indeed. Let's hope they return one day after this nightmare is over. Best of luck to all affected crews and ground staff.
Flew easyJet for the first time to Corfu, got NEO there and back from Gatwick. Stunned by the amazing keg room, comfortable leather seats, professional cabin crew, modern cabin interior, and they dimmed the lights in the night flight unlike Ryanair who puts it on bright light the whole trip and is non stop sell sell sell
First flew from Southend with EasyJet in 2016 & then flew from here another 2 times with them as well, loved it each time. Stress free & one of the best check in experiences ever. This is a big loss for the Airport, I am dreading the day when Ryanair are going to try & steal all the slots that will become available at Southend. Won't be the same.
BHarding10 Ryanair scumbag airline I took my wife to Venice for her big birthday just for lunch return the same day we had a great day until we were due to fly home at 11-30 PM they cancelled our flight home it cost me £700.00 to get home via BA into Gatwick have never flown with them since use Jet 2now absolutely superb airline strongly recommend ✈️✈️
@@davidmitchell4209 my god thats absolutely terrible 😳! Did they even offer an explanation for the cancellation? Oh I have flown with Jet2 once as well & was thoroughly impressed with them! Hope they get a chance to expand their bases with Southend maybe 🤞🏻.
Unfortunately unless Easyjet return in the near future not sure Southend airport has a future, SEN is now Ryanair and if they pull out SEN is left with very few passenger flights, Ryanair will have to increase operations to keep passenger numbers up to make the passenger side viable.
Confirms their reasoning of leaving in the first place was indeed because they didn’t like Ryanair being here. Bit petty of them really, but glad to see someone making a return.

Easyjet are maintaining Amsterdam and UK domestic routes at Stansted.
