13:54 been there man. Back when I wrestled, it was almost like we were high. Because we’d all cut at the same time. The entire team, for a match. This brought back memories of some of the good times. Man, sometimes it would be miserable, but other times, it was fun as hell, and we’d just be laughing like we just smoked a blunt or something.

Walking around 170!😮💨🥶😅 I’ve been walking around at about 180, from 200+ I have no idea how the hell I’d get remotely close to even 155 let alone 135. It’s insane that this man still makes weight every time without issue, especially having a good amount of lean muscle. Although being a little more muscular does allow the body to burn more calories so 🤷🏾♂️. Beat some ass Tonight Champ!
I wanna get into fighting but I gotta get down to 155 from 190. Just so I can cut down to like 135 so I can fight somebody my height. Idk if I’d survive this weight cut 😂
@@Csencharles My lowest weight was 176.4lbs yesterday. It’s a long way down from 190lbs to 155. But hey, plenty of fighters have done it. Use Khabib as an example. He’s about 180-190lbs, and fought lightweight (155) most of his mma career. You can do it!! Just brace yourself. 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😭😭😭😭😭😅😅😅 HA HA!
@@Csencharles And honestly as far as weight loss goes, before you actually start fighting, make sure you make the necessary lifestyle changes, as far as dietary needs go. It will be much easier to get down to that weight limit if you recalibrate your body at a lower walk-around weight. Maybe 175-180 year round and cut to 155lbs. But honestly, I’ve never gotten lower than 176.4lbs so don’t take my word for it. HA HA! Enjoy the fight game if you start booking fights!!!
@@LeonGenesis yeah lifestyle and diet are the easy part for me, I’ve dropped 20 pounds before easily without fight training. I’m sure fighting I’ll get down to 155 in like 6 months if I do my weight training in the morning and fighting in the evening. I’m only 5’6 though so even 155 my opponents will be towering over me.
@@Csencharles That’s good. At least you know where you’re at and what you can do as far as getting to the weight. The height at lower weight classes can be an issue but you can definitely prepare yourself for longer fighters.
These weight cuts are gnarly. So much pressure on body before so much pressure via fight.

I wish they get rid of weight cutting and do the hydration test. We would get better fights, it would be healthier for the athletes, and there would be no weight bullying. But you have to give these guys respect for what they do to just get to the fight.
