I enjoyed their seafood and Japanese stations very much. It's pretty much the only thing I ate since I don't eat meat. I'm really sad that our favorite place, the Spiral Buffet is closed for good. Anyway, the Medley Buffet is almost as good without my favorite foie gras. Everything you're having looks delicious. I love the fish and chips, it looks so yummy. The cheese platter looks great. They didn't have the cheese room when I was there. I'm a cheese lover and can easily eat a platter full of good cheese😋Very nice video and thanks for sharing your great experiences in our country. Tim's Potato love knows no bounds! 😭🙏💕 With Tim's love for potato I was shocked he didn't eat the dessert cheese as a potato raclette! When I thought he was done with potato it was on his spoon with the lobster!

It was a great experience and loved all the food there. Also, thank you so much for the suggestion for the eczema. I was quite desperate and as soon as I saw some of the comments, I ran out to the drugstore and got some of the recommended remedies. The eczema is all better now and it was almost instantaneous once I put on some of the cream. Did you know what the active ingredient was? It was oatmeal! After doing some reading, I realize you don't need to put oatmeal in the bath, you can get some oatmeal powder made especially for baths! That has helped immensely! Thank you!

Good review... I think I mentioned the buffet at Okada before. I think lechon was placed a stationed away when we were there. But now they are near each other and my solution will be to carry 2 plates for lechon and lobster on the other immediately. Do the same after trying some nice dishes. 👍

Yeah, it's a little bit risky. I had an issue with my shoulder with limited mobility for years... Actually a decade or so. Limits the emotion in the gym, etc. The fellow was able to fix that in a few seconds
The prime rib, lobster and dark chocolate cake would have been my 3 top picks. The Medley buffet Okada is always number one, but the Red Lantern brunch at Solaire is my second choice. The Red Lantern has a sit down Dim Sum for lunch that should not be missed. Try it next time you come to Manila.

It was nice to see how they've expanded the buffet at the okata Manila Hotel. Really enjoyed all the seafood and especially the cheese room and unfortunately I was not able to finish all the cheese that was brought to me... It was a bit overwhelming 😉

Tim, Indeed the finest buffet. Tempura looked excellent. Sushi/sashimi tasty. German potato salad looked almost as good as I make. Ox tripe tasty. Oxtail also almost as tasty looking as I make. Yeah, ya needed that knife to help fork up that beautiful Brisket. Crunchy fish n' chips. Hmmn...Mussels & lobster in clam chowder great idea. Sounds like a dinner this week. Wait, wait go back Chicken Feet. Tasty. I make a great chicken feet noodle soup. Dessert choices as lovely as the Pretty Ladies over your shoulder. Good pistachio choice. I actually prefer the buffet at the Okada Manila because their lobsters and seafood are quite nice. The lobsters are cooked fresh and white meaty and fresh.
Waited all day for you. Oxtail is definitely worth the price of admission. Think you ate your birth weight in lobster. But so much variety. Think these buffets should take off the lobster legs and make a nice bisque. I've enjoyed the legs but it's picky work. Annex to the House of Winsor, good one! The cheese gentleman was so proud of his products. Blessings from a damp Oregon.

Besides the pretty decor ~ I noticed the comfortable seating!! That's not so common at these buffets. This must be a better restaurant. But the important bit is of course the food!! 😎 Hope your body felt 100% better - the bones and knuckle cracking was a little worrisome. I think the most important thing is to start doing it; good or bad, you'll always improve from there. There's nothing really special I do, before I use my phone, and now I use a action camera called the DJI pocket 3. Again, the phone camera would have worked just us fine
Yes, I should have mentioned that more explicitly. I was really surprised because the wines were fantastic. So wines, beers and the specialty cocktails are included in the price!
I highly doubt it, especially with all the lobsters and the seafood and the endless wines and cocktails. I suspect a couple of cocktails + a few lobsters would have run up $100 already
I don't know how you can put all that food away. I would be absolutely done after just half of that. The problem with buffets like that, is that everything is so tempting.
While I never got to experience The Spiral. I will add this to the food bucket list as a replacement. I bet the guy from the Cheese Room was still sending you plates of items but the battery on the camera died and you couldn't show it 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, I should have mentioned that more explicitly. I was really surprised because the wines were fantastic. So wines, beers and the specialty cocktails are included in the price!

I highly doubt it, especially with all the lobsters and the seafood and the endless wines and cocktails. I suspect a couple of cocktails + a few lobsters would have run up $100 already
I don't know how you can put all that food away. I would be absolutely done after just half of that.
The problem with buffets like that, is that everything is so tempting.
