Our einkorn seeds came from years of research and testing different varieties from seed banks around the world. The varieties were all genetically tested and the variety we chose is our favorite. We only grow einkorn in fields where other varieties of wheat are not grown.
Dear founders of Jovial, words cannot express how thankful I am for you. You are growing the wheat that God has put on this earth! I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder and only until I stopped consuming Monsanto hybridized wheat, my thyroid went back to normal. It was all the gluten. I was always bloated not knowing why. In today’s day and age, people are eating fake manmade wheat. My husband was born with pyloric stenosis and has had stomach issues since birth. Once we both became gluten free, his health and mine improved drastically! The only wheat we have in our house is ONLY Jovial! I will be ordering from you for as long as our time is not yet... flour, cookies, pasta.. may the Lord bless you guys in the name of Jesus’ Christ. It’s an honor for me to even hold a box of a Jovial einkorn product because wheat is precious and God never meant for it to harm us! Nowadays, it is impossible to find real einkorn nature’s original wheat in the stores.. so we only eat wheat at home. I tell people about einkorn anytime I get a chance. Einkorn is not gluten free. The gluten in einkorn is different than the gluten in modern hybridized wheat. I would not be surprised if the gluten in einkorn wheat is natural gluten while gluten in modern hybridized wheat is manmade/fooled around with. I make 50% einkorn and 50% teff flatbreads every morning for the day by milling 6oz of einkorn berries (I use 4oz for my flatbread mix/recipe and I use 2 oz for dusting purposes), 4oz of teff , and I add 1.5 tablespoons baking powder, half a teaspoon salt, heaping 4oz/half a cup greek yogurt and one teaspoon beef tallow or butter for added healthy fat and flavor

I make the sourdough boule and that’s what we live on. So thankful for the cookbook and video. We add 10 percent whole grain rye flour to get a little bit of tang in our sourdough. Love it!!!

I adore this company and what they are trying to do! Preserving traditions like this is so important. I buy all their beans, pastas, and flour. Just learned how to make einkorn bread a few weeks ago and it's truly delicious! Thanks Carla for your recipes. :-)
what I am finding is that one einkorn biscuit is more satisfying (and far more flavorful and delicious) than four made with conventional flour. The same recipe-The only difference is the flour. Einkorn must be more nutritionally dense and more easily absorbed, to feel that much more satiating. So I would say that even though the einkorn fields give less yield than modern wheat, they are still worth tenfold for all the health benefits-mind, body, soul and planet.

Monsanto has contaminated most of crops and soil in the US, they also intentionally send out goon to contaminate organic farmers crops. Nothing can be pure here. They want everyone to be dependent on their gmo garbage seed. Greed over human well being. The einkorn is safer in a remote countrysite in Italy.
I just bought some Jovial spaghetti and it tastes amazing. I personally hate the taste of pasta without seasoning, oil or sauce, and this doesn't taste bad plain. Definitely not good enough to just eat plain, but it doesn't require as much to try to mask the poor taste like other pasta's. It wasn't too much more expensive, but definitely worth it, I suggest this to anyone who wants to eat whole grain pasta.
Like everybody else here, I love Farro sin first bite. I make my own flour from the berries an from the only my imagination. I’m experience cook and love to try new thing. TVM🌾🌾🌾🌾
I bough the whole wheat and the sprouted whole wheat flour with high hopes but I still had a reaction to the wheat from both. I don’t understand when it is organic? I then purchased one that was not organic but certified tested for pesticides that was from Italy and I didn’t have any reaction at all. So I don’t understand what went wrong with your wheat.

So sad to hear Carla passed away in May 2021. She seemed like such a peaceful soul and I thank her so much for my Einkorn bread making experience.🙏

We had to take things slowly, but we are now ready to sell the flour nationwide. The flour and the wheat berries should be hitting stores this summer.

I am sensitive to yeast, can i make a good bread without yeast using einkorn flour? I love your products. I am a chronic migraine sufferer.

Our wheat is grown in Italy, is certified by Project Detox to be free of glyphosate and is 100% organically grown.
