Dear Nanny love your flower head band scarf and I adore and have made the yogourt cake many times since you first introduces us to it. I do add vanilla and or lemon rind and three or four TB of sugar and sometimes even a few TB of cream cheese. It always turns out nice and yummy. I have found out that you can use any type of yogourt or even Kefir. It really is a wonderfully simple and yummy cake recipe . Happy Father’s Day Moose! Nanny, I personally welcome the overcast weather. It keeps us cooler. I do miss having the bright sunshine, however I do not do well with heat. I wish that you would show how to do the hair wraps again. Whenever I try they slide off…lol. Your garden is beautiful. My potted garden is doing well. I did prune my Chinese lantern bush too much last fall. I don’t know how to care for it at this point. It is usually lush with leaves and blooms by now. Any suggestions?

I hope your Yogurt Cake was tasty. I was concerned it wouldn't have much flavor using Plain Greek Yogurt but with those nice jams being spread on your slices, I bet made the cake delicious. It looked perfect. I will try it as I always use Vanilla Greek Yogurt in my smoothies. Sending you, Moosie and your fur babies my love. Moosie is so cute & funny, I wrote your recipe down to make but I want a little sifter like yours, I’ve never seen one like that!! Also enjoyed your exercising, I try to do much the same, I follow different exercise RUclips videos, switch around so not boring and I think it’s better to alternate the exercises and areas of your body your working on.
I do some for lower back/hip, strengthening and balance. I also do 14 hours of fasting a couple of days a week, to maintain the 20 so lbs I lost 6 years ago after reading the book by the British doctor. My daughter was so impressed she read the book and lost 25 lbs which she has also maintained!

Nanny after watching your video I went straight to the kitchen and make your yogurt cake. It turned out beautiful. It’s in the refrigerator now. I’m going to wait until morning to eat a piece. Have you tried any of the flavored yogurt? I may try throwing a handful of blueberries in my next cake. If my memory serves me right the last one you made you mentioned or someone mentioned in a video the recipe doesn’t work to double it. I only watch about 3 videos your, Patty and Whippoorwill holler. You may enjoy watching her videos she’s mainly about southern cooking. Thank for the recipe and I’m so glad I’d just bought groceries and have plenty yogurt to make the cake. He's been gone for many years now.(in heaven) you made me think of him. I have made the yummy yogurt cake and is excellent! My oven is not working properly at this time, (I need to buy a new stove)so might whip up some yogurt pancakes instead. The roses are beautiful in your garden. I wanted to mention that your hair ornamentation looks so pretty for your cooking and garden activities today. I've got to start a daily routine of stretching like you Nanny.
