Lol thankfully the swelling goes down naturally after a few hours. I remember stepping on bees as a kid. The curved part of my sole would swell outward, so it looked like a Walking Shoe.
My cat does that with his favorite water dispenser. We have 4 or 5 dispensers at any given time- some are fountains, and some are those half gallon upside down jugs. One of my cats loves a particular one of the jug water dispensers. We change them all out 1-2x a week, and try to keep an eye on them in between, but we know that there is more than enough water available that the cats will always have enough available. But this one cat drinks almost all of his water from this one dispenser, so if the other cats also use it, it will end up on empty before it is the usual changing time. There is a water fountain RIGHT NEXT TO IT, but this one cat is so insistent on having HIS water dispenser, that he will push it into the very center of our hallway the second it is empty, then sit next to it meowing at anyone who walks by. He makes sure we know we are failing at appropriately anticipating and catering to his desires.
