it’s not, actually the children in the story aren’t literally representing a child. But instead the stories, the stories buried by time and they are eager to tell them to the world. This story in general it’s about that and I think they confirmed it over on tik tok Edit: Yall really can’t read huh (the ones repliying) the author has said/ explained multiple times the meaning of their songs/ characters. They even stablish what is and what isn’t up to the interpretation of the viewer. They even have rules over the discord of how create your own oc in their universe Having something so dear as your own creation just for people to have it wrong it’s kind of disappointing, and and so I wanted to explain what it was, simple as that
Quick note about the song: Rabbits sometimes bury their babies in little underground air pockets to protect them from predators. The song doesn’t necessary mean they are dead. Edit: Why are ALL my notifications are just from this ONE video? Yes, I know a rabbit is not a hare, and I have now looked into it and no, hares don't dig burrows.
0:13 I like the attention to detail of showing one of them with their lips perked while the rest had their mouths opened. In the chorus you do hear one going "Ooh Ooh" as the rest were going "Aah aah".
FOr some reason I misread this song as "Happy Hare" so I thought it was about a hare that frequently killed its litters of children. So when the hare started looking a bit too chipper these forest fellas were like "God, Carol, what have you done with the kids this time?"
I want to say this, since it seems a lot of people might not know. When a hare or wild rabbit has a litter of kits, she will burry them in the ground. This will not kill them, as they have pockets of air inside. This is for protection from predators. So in this song the lyric "Where have you buried all your children?" doesn't necessarily imply that she buried their dead bodies.
The fact that the song, art work and the character designs were made by the same person is just insane. You got some pure talents. You have earned me as a subscriber. :0
@louielardizabal5322 Kingsley is doing background vocals, in the beginning while the other 3 are going "Aaah" you can hear Kingsley faintly in the background going "Oooh"
I love this song so much, it reminds me of simply running through the forest, taking in the view, smelling the flowers, playing in the creek, looking at bugs/animals. Simply beautiful.
I love how in the video it's just a bunch of kids playing and singing the song instead of the actual story behind it, this reminds me of the songs we used to sing as kids Some of them held deep meanings and dark stories but we never really put much thought into it
See I kind of see that as PART of the story. The Lark are dancing and playing and playing but the longer the song goes on the more intense Cole's voice becomes about "TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE." So, to me, it seems like these children are running about free and wild, but the Harpy Hare's children aren't. And Cole, especially, has a problem with that. Which makes sense, considering Cole wears a hare mask. Also, I feel like it's worth noting that hares do NOT bury their children for safety. A lot of people are commenting that that is a normal behavior for rabbits, which is true. But hares are NOT rabbits, and it's very big mistake to mix up the two. I won't get into all the differences of the two know, but the more important things to know is that rabbits are the epitome of the term "prey animal". When in danger, they think only of running and hiding. Rabbits spend a large portion of their lives hiding in burrows underground. Hares are a "prey animal" with a warning label. They are larger, faster, and aggressive. When in danger, they think of running, and fighting back. They spend their entire lives above ground. A hare is never meant to be buried while still alive. (And a rabbit can be domesticated. A hare never can be.) So it feels very relevant to me that this Harpy Hare is forcing to her children to live as rabbits.
This song feels like running off into the woods, Like finally freeing yourself from a house you never called home, Like meeting people that truly care about you, I like it.
I love how each of them have their own distinct personalities and quirks. They feel so unique and different to each other yet really feel together as a group.
You are so genuinely inspiring to me. I'm too young to publish my music, and don't yet play an instrument, but your music has encouraged me to write and try to learn. I love your characters so much. I wasn't meant to be one person either.

Heyy!! I agree with your comment by a lot, but I’d like to inform you that I think these characters don’t have genders and fall under the non-binary spectrum, so if you really want to, you can edit your comment so it’s not “her”, but “their”! btw I got this uhh info from the creator replying to a comment asking if Cole and Clementines relationship was queer or het on I think the “Cole’s response” song/vid? Ok things I have noticed but have no clue how much importance they hold - Cole seems to often the focus on things, literally also often has the role to demand sort of (Tell me so I say) also has scenes with lots of lyrics explaining more of the told story of the song, Cole also is seen to be seemingly told a secret by Clementine WHILE!!! SITTING ON THE THRONE and is also often the first to appear or stand out sort of, all others appear one after other dancing while cole is sitting - Kingsley; the two scenes with him that stand out the most to me with him are first of all the one where he comes closer and closer to us (the screen) during the line: to be hid, which certainly not only gives the vibes of being certainly having something up their sleeve but also the hiding part can be scene at the near end i would say with the part with the stool, he holds his ears shut!!! Either being told to not know or willingly not wanting to know .. or giving the impression to not being able to hear while the opposite stands still, one could of course point out more with the simple pose of holding one's ears shut - The elk/etc person (i forgot her name, sorry) She seems to be the leader but yet rather is just there to cause like a final decision not being very much in the front or in the spotlight, only shaking her head after Cole inquires and such and at the throne scene leaning onto it from the back, being there, listening and etc but not stepping in yet sorta - Also the figures at the end!!! while at the beginning I thought they were simply more elaborated yet somehow connected to the four designs I do not think it is all in all even if some of them look very similar to some; the first one to appear seems reminiscent to the Storyteller (Yaelokre's persona) the second was clearly a lamb/sheep (very reminiscent to Clementine), the third one seemed to be made by trees and branches and such and placed in the middle seemingly loomingly (this one reminded me of Kingsley and I also saw someone point out that kingsley is supposed to represent a tree) the last one tho seemed also to not only have a different animation to reveal itself compared to the other three but also it seems to be an elk skull with some sort of ornaments, clearly representing the elk girl but why did no rabbit appear, why is cole missing ... my guess it has to do with Cole's seemingly importance and therefore sharing a tight link with the story teller but i am not too sure anyways thank you for listening to my ramble ^_^ i hope you enjoyed it and perhaps if you want feel free to share yours please!!!
Hey, just so you know the lamb person at the end is the Bellringer, Yaelokre has posted sketches of them and presented them as "Storyteller's Spouse" Also the elk one is called Perrine And I'd also point out how the neck ornaments from the end characters match the neck ornaments from the kids IM SOOO NIRMAL BOUT IT TOO LIKE PFFFT JUST KIDS SINGING IN THE WOODS RIGHT??

also, if i'm not mistaken, it was pointed out at some point that Cole admires the Storyteller, that the Storyteller is the reason Cole "started" the band and such
I heard that the sheep entity in the end is named Yarrows, and it is The Storyteller’s so called spouse (according to the creator’s TikTok account) People kept on mistaking them both for Cole and Clementine becuz their designs are so similar and they’re both dating
I've always percieved this song as an overprotective mother trying to shield her children from the horrors of the world, unintentionally harming them more. It's because she doesn't understand that she won't be able to keep them 'safe' forever, as multiple people warn her about the inevitable consequences of her actions. Edit: I just realized that's also why the lyrics when the mother is being warned sound so desperate, as if the person singing has already experienced it before.
legit got full body chills when you could hear the characters voice switch pitches (indicating that the character who was singing had been replaced with another characters voice)
You know a song is good when you get goosebumps singing along to it. Even after I know what the song is about it still makes me in such a good mood. This has been my favorite song ever since I've heard it for the very first time. ❤
This and "Soldier, Poet, King" now live in a category of songs I never thought I'd have. Songs that make me nostalgic for something I've never experienced. I adore the vibes here. Edit: Y'all this song has like double the amount of views it had when I made this comment. Go Yaelokre go! Flourish, thrive, become a sensation like you deserve!
I never got to see that perspective on "Soldier Poet King." Pretty early on I realized it was a song about Jesus, being that it isn't talking about 3 different people, it's describing 3 aspects of one person. (this isn't a headcanon btw. the song soldier poet king is about the coming of Christ/the messiah, and directly references prophecies from the bible)
Idk why anyone hasnt brought this is up but i love the way that all the characters (mainly clementine and cole in this song) have their own individual sound. Im not too sure if there are multiple people or just one but if there is just one i want to give a HUGE KUDOS. I especially love the final "tell me so i say" because it sounds like the whole group is shouting. anything i love this song sm RARRARARARARAR
Okay don’t quote me on this but I think the goat mask one is Clementine? And the rabbit mask one is Cole? Just a guess though, lol. edit: clementine is actually a goat and not a sheep like I thought! and the moose one is named Perrine, and the other one (for the life of me, what kind of animal is that??) is named Kingsley. You can see all this on the top comment of the Hartebeast video :)
@@raihananorhisham5084 Cole is the rabbit and Clementine is the goat. I also know the tree bark kid is named Kingsley but the name of the moose kid escapes me rn
This song I don’t know what it is, but it just gives me a sense of.. like.. folkish child like innocence.. like the innocence you get when you’re running through the forest as a child. like.. free one with what’s around you-
Cole’s voice is so serious but quite elegant, while Clémentine’s is angelic and rather enchanting; it’s funny how they’re stage partners but so different. So excited to see more of the story; Yaelokre really is mysterious, but it all makes sense at the same time.
"Harpy Hare" is a song by Filipino singer keath that tells the story of a mother's complex relationship with her children. The song is about a loving but selfish mother who hides her children from the world, but her extreme measures of protection make her children feel trapped. The song ends with a plea from the children to the mother that true protection comes from freedom, not confinement. In Greek mythology, harpies are terrifying creatures with the bodies of birds and the faces of women. They symbolize death, the Underworld, and fear, and often torment the dead. In earlier myths, they also symbolized storm winds. The word "hare" refers to an animal similar to a large rabbit that has long ears and can run very fast. As a verb, "hare" means to go swiftly. (Thank you yall❤)
why arent we talking about how the art and song and vocals were done by the same person? that level of talent is just insane. Yaelokre is my idol as someone that can sing with beautiful vocal control, tell a story like an eloquent poet (a story full of depth and personal flair, may I add.) who can also play instruments. As an artist myself, the quality of art produced is also amazing. i admire the way their lines are so concise and so effortless(?) that kind of skill is just insane, even on its own (without the other capabilities this artist has). and as a character designer/outfit designer myself, even the character designs for this is just so good. the colour palettes, outfits, silhouettes, they are so detailed and well portrayed. I cant even begin to imagine the level of work it took to reach this tier of skill. the rendering of characters and even the animations in this is so high quality. we really need to talk about their art a lot more. yaelokre is amazing. a poet, an angel, an artist, a musician, a singer, and a story teller. This person has so much artistic power that i can not even begin to imagine. this creator is able to just... create... and they are sure to inspire many, many more artists too. 1:21 is my favourite part, the sudden switch to first person, the design of the character... from a viby song, to all of a sudden a call out of desperation. Chills.
Someone already pointed out how this song seems to be about an overprotective mother, but I also wanted to point out a nice touch that I found interesting. See the lyrics "You can't keep them all caged, they will fight and run away" which is later followed by the lyrics "You can't keep them all caged, they will die and be afraid" those verses I believe represent the 2 reactions that people tend to have to being sheltered and/or isolated: *The fighter:* Someone who is sheltered from something might (To their parents' dismay) become utterly fascinated with that thing due to it being denied to them, seeking that freedom. These types of people are usually the ones who rebel and break the cycle of abuse. *The conformer:* Someone who is sheltered from something might instead become afraid of what they are being sheltered by instead of being fascinated or enamored by it. They often try to avoid the thing they're sheltered from (Which instead of being due to fear, might be because they're afraid of how their parent would react) and unfortunately often continue the cycle of abuse. I am an armchair psychologist and a true crime nut, so I've noticed a lot of psychological reactions to abuse and 2 reactions I always see to sheltering is that someone will either become fascinated in what their parent is trying to shelter them from (That was also my reaction to being sheltered as a youngster) or they'll become afraid of it. So, I very very intrigued to see those two reactions being portrayed in this song. 👍 Good job Yaelokre, you made a very interesting song and I absolutely adored the symbols you put into it! :}
I agree with the "fight and run away" bit being a reaction to their environment, but I think the bit about "they will die and be afraid" is more trying to tell a parent to stop being so protective, because being afraid and eventually dying is something any living being will eventually experience. You can't protect your child from everything, as much as you may want to. ("she can't keep them all safe") Not to invalidate your theory, it can be both! It's just that as somebody who was also pretty sheltered by their mom growing up, (though thankfully she began to change as I got closer to being a pre-teen) I think the message that you can't protect your kids forever and they need to experience bad things to learn and grow from is something a lot of parents need to learn, but some have a hard time grasping with, so I feel it's very pertinent in this song about an overprotective mother.
My parents sheltered me so much that in college, I’m learning so much that I should’ve learned as a kid It’s also affected me to where I’m scared of doing things because it sounds dangerous
@@SusCalvinsure anyone can sing but these characters are performers, and bards are the performers. You don’t need to kill the original commenters vibe. They actually have a pretty good point!
Yea I love listening to rock but smth abt this type of music for the past 3 years be making me feel peaceful and nostalgic and rock helps to release my built up anger. Two different genres of music tho I don’t understand how
Finally got the meaning. I think. It's about a mother who won't let go of their child, but she knows her children will grow, fight, be afraid and die. The mom basically wants to be with her child even if they grow up or die. Edit: HOLY MOLY 4,3K LIKES?!?
That's kinda correct, but really her heart has been broken so she buried all her children to protect them and her friends keep asking her where they are because if she keeps them hidden from the world then they will grow up afraid and die out of fear Please correct me if I'm wrong
A theory I kinda had about it is that it’s sort of about the baroness? Like all the protective mother stuff, since that’s sort of how I interpreted all of the bits where clémmie sings about her. Like she (Clémentine) was really sheltered by the baroness, I mean there was that one like in her song of origin like “garden evergreen is what I thought that I would see” for when she escaped, like she’s been so sheltered in her childhood that she assumed the outside world would be just as beautiful and nice. But that’s just a theory I had about it lol.
Im literally crying from this, it remind me of ‘soilder, poet, king.” Both of the songs gives me a ting/buzz in my heart idk how to explain. Ty for making this song for us, its beutiful 😭
I am actually really interested in Kingsley’s character in this. They’re the only one without an animal themed mask, they don’t have shoes, they don’t have sleeves, they’re shorter than the rest, they’re the only one smiling with their teeth in the title-card(?), they are the one doing the different sound in the chorus vocals, and so much more details I could list out. Idk if it was intentional or not but these tiny details just make Kingsley stand out compared to the rest of the group.
Ik me too! (I don’t know names of the characters yet) also in the scene where the one with the rabbit mask is playing some sort of instrument Kingsley is covering his ears and the only one doing so
the vibes this gives- like i wanna go live in a cottage in the woods and read poetry and play music and explore the woods and do witchcraft. this song gives me the good chills. very amazing.
2:08 I just LOVE this part where the mail singer goes “harpy hare where have u buried all you children “ and then everyone joins in UGH it just quiet literally gives me chills!!
Is it weird that this song makes me feel comforted and yet uneasy? It makes me feel comfort about my existence but also unease as if I'm in a forest with a cryptid.

Fr, to me what hits especially hard is “you can’t keep them all caged they will die and be afraid”. I think this is talking about how parentsneed to accept they can’t protect their children from death, fear and pain.
Honestly although I am late to the train, all your songs seriously feel like a type of music I've been searching for but never found- it feels so whimsical listening to songs like this
i love how this feels like a morbid ring-around-the-rosie. (well, more morbid, lmao) but the children’s game you realize is incredibly messed up and dark once you’re a little older.
I don't think the lyrics "Harpy hare where did you bury all your children?" Is meant to be "where did you bury their bodies?" Because turns out rabbits do bury their kits in the burrow but there are air pockets and it is to keep them safe from predators
@@wikioticI mean, the thing about the whole rabbit vs hare debate is that both animals are confused for the other all the time? Who knows which one the author is actually talking about. Regardless of which animal and what context this is to be taken in, I think it's still a pretty dark song either way.
This song inspired me to make a series where 5 children were slaughtered in the woods by a mysterious person, and now they haunt and roam the woods. The masks they wear represent them and their favorite animal. The body's weren't discovered but visitors have been their sprites around. Idk if this idea was already made but I just came up with it!
As someone who grew up in the golden vocaloid era, I'm so happy that people are continuing to expand lore and characters just from one music video alone.
this song reminds me of a mother who won’t let her children go she keeps them safe where they’re buried away from the world and its threats you can’t keep them all caged they will fight and run away is a good example on how they feel trapped and will always worry thinking it’s so very cruel out there but “she can’t keep them all safe they will die and and be afraid” this is mostly my experience being schooled indoors for the past 4/5 years going no where not going to parties to see other family or anywhere in general love this song🍂🪷🪵
at the risk of being hurtful by comparison, this feels so much like watching a ghibli film for the first time. the whimsical nostalgia for something you've never ever seen before is so wonderful. incredible
this is just like when my mother tells me a story when I was a child, she would tell tales where everything is yellowish and I would imagine everything, this is beautiful. Keep up the good work!
As soon as 2:00 came along, I literally had the chills (or goosebumps) when that aggressive "Tell me so I say" came. First time I've ever felt like that with a song?! This song itself is amazing and I could literally listen to it on repeat!

They remind me of some of the festival outfits from the Wicker Man (1970s movie, not the 2000s one)
This is interesting, I would say the contrary, that they are wishing to free those who could stay trapped, and to break the circle nya.🐾🖤🌌✨🎶

Hares don’t do that though, I don’t think

0:13 I like the attention to detail of showing one of them with their lips perked while the rest had their mouths opened. In the chorus you do hear one going "Ooh Ooh" as the rest were going "Aah aah".

It's just something I noticed by chance but nice haha!

FOr some reason I misread this song as "Happy Hare" so I thought it was about a hare that frequently killed its litters of children. So when the hare started looking a bit too chipper these forest fellas were like "God, Carol, what have you done with the kids this time?"
why did I laughed 😭
I want to say this, since it seems a lot of people might not know. When a hare or wild rabbit has a litter of kits, she will burry them in the ground. This will not kill them, as they have pockets of air inside. This is for protection from predators. So in this song the lyric "Where have you buried all your children?" doesn't necessarily imply that she buried their dead bodies.

I love this song so much, it reminds me of simply running through the forest, taking in the view, smelling the flowers, playing in the creek, looking at bugs/animals. Simply beautiful.
I love how in the video it's just a bunch of kids playing and singing the song instead of the actual story behind it, this reminds me of the songs we used to sing as kids
Some of them held deep meanings and dark stories but we never really put much thought into it
See I kind of see that as PART of the story.
A hare never can be.)
So it feels very relevant to me that this Harpy Hare is forcing to her children to live as rabbits.
This song is 3 minutes long, but it’s so good, I just feel like it’s only been like, 20 seconds

Ok things I have noticed but have no clue how much importance they hold
- Cole seems to often the focus on things, literally also often has the role to demand sort of (Tell me so I say) also has scenes with lots of lyrics explaining more of the told story of the song, Cole also is seen to be seemingly told a secret by Clementine WHILE!!! SITTING ON THE THRONE and is also often the first to appear or stand out sort of, all others appear one after other dancing while cole is sitting
- Kingsley; the two scenes with him that stand out the most to me with him are first of all the one where he comes closer and closer to us (the screen) during the line: to be hid, which certainly not only gives the vibes of being certainly having something up their sleeve but also the hiding part can be scene at the near end i would say with the part with the stool, he holds his ears shut!!! Either being told to not know or willingly not wanting to know .. or giving the impression to not being able to hear while the opposite stands still, one could of course point out more with the simple pose of holding one's ears shut
- The elk/etc person (i forgot her name, sorry) She seems to be the leader but yet rather is just there to cause like a final decision not being very much in the front or in the spotlight, only shaking her head after Cole inquires and such and at the throne scene leaning onto it from the back, being there, listening and etc but not stepping in yet sorta
- Also the figures at the end!!! while at the beginning I thought they were simply more elaborated yet somehow connected to the four designs I do not think it is all in all even if some of them look very similar to some; the first one to appear seems reminiscent to the Storyteller (Yaelokre's persona) the second was clearly a lamb/sheep (very reminiscent to Clementine), the third one seemed to be made by trees and branches and such and placed in the middle seemingly loomingly (this one reminded me of Kingsley and I also saw someone point out that kingsley is supposed to represent a tree) the last one tho seemed also to not only have a different animation to reveal itself compared to the other three but also it seems to be an elk skull with some sort of ornaments, clearly representing the elk girl
but why did no rabbit appear, why is cole missing ...
my guess it has to do with Cole's seemingly importance and therefore sharing a tight link with the story teller but i am not too sure
anyways thank you for listening to my ramble ^_^
i hope you enjoyed it and perhaps if you want feel free to share yours please!!!

I've always percieved this song as an overprotective mother trying to shield her children from the horrors of the world, unintentionally harming them more. It's because she doesn't understand that she won't be able to keep them 'safe' forever, as multiple people warn her about the inevitable consequences of her actions.

X2
Someone already pointed out how this song seems to be about an overprotective mother, but I also wanted to point out a nice touch that I found interesting. See the lyrics "You can't keep them all caged, they will fight and run away" which is later followed by the lyrics "You can't keep them all caged, they will die and be afraid" those verses I believe represent the 2 reactions that people tend to have to being sheltered and/or isolated:
*The fighter:* Someone who is sheltered from something might (To their parents' dismay) become utterly fascinated with that thing due to it being denied to them, seeking that freedom. These types of people are usually the ones who rebel and break the cycle of abuse.
*The conformer:* Someone who is sheltered from something might instead become afraid of what they are being sheltered by instead of being fascinated or enamored by it. They often try to avoid the thing they're sheltered from (Which instead of being due to fear, might be because they're afraid of how their parent would react) and unfortunately often continue the cycle of abuse.
I am an armchair psychologist and a true crime nut, so I've noticed a lot of psychological reactions to abuse and 2 reactions I always see to sheltering is that someone will either become fascinated in what their parent is trying to shelter them from (That was also my reaction to being sheltered as a youngster) or they'll become afraid of it. So, I very very intrigued to see those two reactions being portrayed in this song. 👍
Good job Yaelokre, you made a very interesting song and I absolutely adored the symbols you put into it! :}
This is a really great observation :) in short, you either break the cycle of abuse,or continue it! Yae has really done a Nice job :)
Wow that's cool that you made that observation I never thought of it that way 👏🙌
WAHT THIE SISN9 COOL MAARY ME
I agree with the "fight and run away" bit being a reaction to their environment, but I think the bit about "they will die and be afraid" is more trying to tell a parent to stop being so protective, because being afraid and eventually dying is something any living being will eventually experience. You can't protect your child from everything, as much as you may want to. ("she can't keep them all safe")
Not to invalidate your theory, it can be both!
My parents sheltered me so much that in college, I’m learning so much that I should’ve learned as a kid
It’s also affected me to where I’m scared of doing things because it sounds dangerous

Finally got the meaning. I think.
It's about a mother who won't let go of their child, but she knows her children will grow, fight, be afraid and die. The mom basically wants to be with her child even if they grow up or die.
Edit: HOLY MOLY 4,3K LIKES?!?
That's kinda correct, but really her heart has been broken so she buried all her children to protect them and her friends keep asking her where they are because if she keeps them hidden from the world then they will grow up afraid and die out of fear
Please correct me if I'm wrong
From what i know, this song is a tribute from the Lark to the the Harkers (mostly the bellringer/yarrow)
I think it means the mother cares for her babies so she buried them to hide from the predators
@@lavenderICOYeah, I think it's about a mom not wanting her kids to get hurt, but in the process becoming over protective.
But that’s just a theory I had about it lol.

i love that the character’s hairs match their animal masks, like the lamb has curly hair that looks like ram horns, the moose one has pigtails that mimic the horns, the rabbit with the straight hair mimicking floppy rabbit ears, this song and the art is super cool i love it:)
And the tree one has messy, poofy hair- like a tree full of leaves :D

For anybody who doesn’t know the meaning of the song: Hares like to bury their children to protect them. This is referencing overprotective mothers who keep in their children. Then the kids run away. Hope this helped!

Have asked about those other designs before as they've appeared on their twitter too - apparently those are the Harkers, separate characters who the Lark (the kids) put on performances dedicated to with masks reminiscent of them.
Also, apparently the Lark are the only humans. I am not sure whether the Lark means all children or just this specific group, though.

It's so "band of bards where nobody knows where they came from, but their music is like the birds' song. Whenever you ask a question they dance around it, and when the sun sets, they disappear into the wilds, taking memories with them, but leaving the longing for a warm feeling behind."

This song feels like a folktale that was turned into a song. The visuals and vocals are phenomenal.
And theres something about the art style and visuals that give me so much gender envy that i can't function
wtf do you mean bro
@@Magpeye876 for what? you need yo be specific
So there are like multiple gendered characters in this, do you have enby of being like, genderless? Or like fluid. I mean I sort of get what you mean
@@penguin22penguin22 genderless kinda? im non-binary using any pronouns but it's kinda hard to describe. the art style itself is kind of ethereal in a way and the characters are drawn with vague ideas of gender even if they're supposed to be gender neutral like Cole, and it's something i wish i could look like. Just a vague idea of what i could be but never knowing for sure
@@art-iculatelycatastrophic ohh yeah I get it, yeah, when I first saw the characters, they all really looked gender neutral to me as well.
I first listened to the song, but this illustrated version has made me realize that the different children whrn shown on the screen singing sound different from each other! This level of attention to detail is amazing! I can't wait to learn more about their journey through sobgs ❤
everytime it's just a single solo before there are multiple voices always gives me goosebumps
I’ve only just discovered your creations, and I’m sad to hear that some people are being super toxic about trying to take them over! 😢 I just love what you’re creating so far, and I think it would be really cool if someday, years from now, I can introduce my children to your creations like a children’s fairy story world 😊
when i first listened to harpy hare without context, i idly wondered why some of the verses were sung with such a different cadence than others, and now i know it was because it's supposed to sound like more than one person singing it!! love the attention to detail with each of their voices
For some reason, this feels very nostalgic. 😭
I will be writing a whole fantasy adventure while listening to this song. 🩷

"You can't keep them all caged, they will fight and run away" that line hits so hard for some reason!

i love how this feels like a morbid ring-around-the-rosie.
@@okami360Rabbits do, HOWEVER hares don’t!!
@@wikioticI mean, the thing about the whole rabbit vs hare debate is that both animals are confused for the other all the time? Who knows which one the author is actually talking about. Regardless of which animal and what context this is to be taken in, I think it's still a pretty dark song either way.
This song always gives me the creeps and makes me feel like I'm lost in the forest like in the 1990's but it's addicting and sad
This sounds like a song you're trying to find from an animated movie you watched as a kid, but this one is from another universe.

this song reminds me of a mother who won’t let her children go she keeps them safe where they’re buried away from the world and its threats you can’t keep them all caged they will fight and run away is a good example on how they feel trapped and will always worry thinking it’s so very cruel out there but “she can’t keep them all safe they will die and and be afraid”
