My son and I grew up in Stuart, and he's 23 now and joined the Marines last year. I miss camping and fishing with him, but watching your videos brings back lots of memories. It's great to see you guys making the most of these times. Time goes by so fast. It's like the older you get the faster it accelerates.
We need fathers like this more than ever right now. I watched that boy slay it in the woods, learn from his dad, make dinner for the family, then lead in prayer. Good man, and a fine young man.

I live in Australia we have scouts and other groups I'm not sure what you learn. but a friend of the family taught me how to fish and water ski. Later on a mate taught me how to deep sea fish how unreal. My dad is a chef and love him for that 😊
We need sons and daughters like this too. They’re the future and Jake is a dying breed. Too many people raising whinny entitled brats.

On the kids and guns issue you have satisfied their curiosity letting them handle the guns under supervision, and like you said they know they can go shoot them with you. Never had a problem with my kids doing the same thing. Great to see shooting sports portrayed in a positive light. Also love how you and Kelly support each other.

The fact that, in this day and age, you are passing on those values to your kids and the younger generation is paramount.
What an awesome dad. Every boy deserves a dad who takes an interest in his children. The dad takes his time to teach his sons properly and they clearly love and respect him. He provides encouragement, correction when needed but in a very positive way. These boys will grow up to be confident men. Kudos!

I just bought a tenpoint crossbow and got my son who is 5 on it and he is hooked. Bought him a hunting license and deer tags and is itching for me to pull him out of school and take him hunting. Keep up the good work raising you kids right!

Grip gloves from dollar store will help you to pull out those arrows. They are dipped gloves. Help with everything from gripping a slippery arrow to opening a tight jar to gardening prickly weeds, been a big help for me! You're a good Dad!

Brought a tear to my eye hearing you talk about guns at the end of the video. My father also raised us around guns and preached gun safety. People think we are crazy when they come inside and see the old mossberg 500 on the couch but they don’t understand, not only can we not afford a gun safe but we where always around them.
