Alt explains why his mom was surprised the Chargers selected him and how his dad, legendary Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman John Alt, has impacted his growth on and off the field. I swear Joe Alt has the same demeanor as Justin Herbert. It’s hilarious.
I agree
I was just thinking the same thing lmao
I was thinking the same thing lol the draft clips are identical
This kid is very mature and well spoken. Obviously intelligent and physically a beast
Hopefully we keep drafting white
@@atarimeejyaneeka bruh
All Notre Dame kids are well spoken.
@@atarimeejyaneeka
Hopefully you aren’t as racist as you sound. WTF kinda comment is that?
@@atarimeejyaneekagtfo no need for your shit here
Joe seems like the man. Super intelligent, humble, hard working. A match made in Charger heaven. Super excited for the season
dude interviews better than most pros lol
He's a rookie so Its the lack of head trauma
Glad to see some love coming to him after all the hate on draft night we got probably the best player in the draft overall ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Definitely the most dominant player in the draft.
What a sharp pick wow Chargers A+
His dad tip toeing during his jersey photoshoot is peak fatherhood 😂
Wow
Alt and Herbie have the same personality this is amazing
What a wonderful, smart, positive, and confident young man!.. welcome to the Chargers!! The future is looking really bright!
Fans shouldn’t worry about his transition from left to right OT. Ryan Ramczyk did the same and has been elite. Kid went from tight end to OL like Jason Peters. He’s gunna be an absolute stud for a decade plus
Welcome to Bolt country brother !!!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️💙💛💙💛🔥👍🏻💯😎
Lol Jim chopping it up with Joe’s Dad. I love coach man😂
GO Joe! Go BOLTS!
Him and Herbert look like there gonna be great friends
He’s young & he’s only gunna get BIGGER! Especially under Ben Herbert’s training! 💪🏻
Joe Alt is like that chill younger cousin that Herbo would tease until he grew 10 feet tall and became the # 1 OT in the country
Seems like a very well spoken young man, very specific and analytical responses. And his cadence and mannerisms and tone of voice is very similar to Herbert.
Here’s to hoping he’s our next HOF lineman… like a likewise 6-letter named Ron Mix ⚡️⚡️⚡️
21yr old Jonathan Ogden with a Mechanical Engineering degree 🧠💪
Welcome Mr Alt😤⚡️⚡️
kinda reminds me of herbert.
Alt, Herb and Harbaugh are cut from the same cloth.
Good Ol country boy. I love it!!
Just like Slater, big ol' teddy bears off the field, well spoken, mild mannered; but absolute monsters on it. Cant wait to see how those two bookend the OL.
I can see Alt reporting as eligible near the endzone and catching a TD pass!
I could see him lining up next to Slater as TE, with Mason at FB handing off to Vidal.
@@ottowilliams4584 He lined up as a TE next to Blake Fisher last year and parted the Red Sea for Audric Estime to run for an 80-yard touchdown against NC State.
Wow I am so impressed with this extraordinary young man ! Welcome to the Bolt family Joe ! Wishing you and the team many years of success ! This is a new era and I am totally excited and proud to be a Chargers fan ! Bolt Up ! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
You're going to LOVE Ladd McConkey. I can definitely see you guys being great friends. As a Chiefs fan it would have been kind of nice to have Joe on the Chiefs team, family tradition.
Can't wait to see my dude in the baby blues baby!!! 💛💛
Only 21 too. Fucking awesome
Best pick of the draft, cannot wait to see this kid play
Alt is definitely catching a goal line TD this year!
Chargers got themselves a special player
We draft Nabors we get him for three years and then wants 35 mil a year.We will have Alt for next 8-10 years
Let’s Go!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
I'm very positive he's going to be very good in the league and that will be amazing for us. Considering he just turned 21 he's young and can be elite for a long time.
GOOSEBUMPS!!! BTFU!
Chargers love their water signs at these premium positions
Herbert- Pisces
Alt-Cancer
Bosa-Cancer
Mack-Pisces
Ladd-Scorpio
Building a Fortress around Herb…trust the process.
Enjoy your Charger Bolt. Experience!🎈
I like this guy
Solid Pick Well done Chargers
Joe alt as 6th lineman, reports eligible, end around trick play pass to JH on the goal line. I need it once
Stoked!
i wasn’t happy w the pick at first (because i wanted nabers) but after sleeping on it i love it. kid should be a stud off the rip, im looking forward to see what we can do this year boys. BOLT THE FUCK UP ⚡️
If the Chargers reply to this I'll dye my dog powder blue ( with pet safe hair dye )
dont do that lol
@chargers 👀
Lol poor dog
At least you aren't taking it to the gravel pit.
@@EddieDaleJr.weird comment
Great. Guy Alt is I don’t hold it against ur Dad being a Chief Go Chargers 94 breath the Chiefs!
Nice
I like him
That CAD System will help you help them create 3D to 4D Indepth plays for the team bro think about it?
So when this old jarhead saw you hug yer dad I cried. Yer pops is proud no doubt. My dad passed from cancer but was so proud of his sons and 3 of them are former US Marines and the other was a national motocross racer. My point being a dads hug like that cannot be replaced. I miss my best dude and my dad!!!
This guy and Herbert seem like there going to be best buddies lol
Charger fans just wait… this kid is only 12, wait until he hits 15👀
Just playing, I love the pick 😂
This guy is going to be nasty with it if he played hockey
They gotta have a trick play where he runs a route or throws the ball
Future HoF player here with Alt. Build the immovable wall around the franchise Bolts!
The Los Angeles Battle Chargers Cavalry is ready for the Battle
🎺 Da Da Dah Dah Da Da Charge!!!
⚡️🐴 🏈
⚡️⚡️⚡️’s
That beat in the background is way too loud
His brother Mark Alt played hockey for the LA Kings.....
Another potential all pro tackle. Nabers would have been nice but Alt + McConkey is the better strategy.
People are insanely underrating mcconkey. He’s a stud
I can picture that just fine.
Rashawn to RT
ALT the left tackle of the future
Would be really odd to move an all pro left tackle to right tackle in favor of a rookie. If Rashawn wasn’t an all pro LT it might make sense. Maybe after this year they’ll evaluate. But I don’t think you do that in the rookie year.
Rashawn is a locked LT, They’re moving Alt to RT
Alt transferred from a TE to the number 5 overall pick. The transition from LT to RT is way easier than TE to OL. He’s gonna be just fine
@@BratatoChipdidn’t alt also play RT early on?
@@amentze3525 Yes
HES A MOUNTAIN LET HIM COMPETE AT LT
Justin Herbert’s brother from another mother
Slow country on game days?
Yeah we got a corn-fed HOF Olineman right here folks
his dad being a chiefs player kinda makes me nervous ngl. SOUNDS LIKE HES GUNNA THROW
Joe, your father was inducted into the KC hall of fame. Likewise, I believe you will one day be elected into the chargers hall of fame.
Why did his girl friend roll her eyes when the chargers pick him
A lot of people don’t like Cali, but could’ve been for any reason.
He couldn't even hit the same reps at Bench then Blake cureum
Alright we will give him a pass for the country music
Charger fan here in Houston, born and raised in Santee (San Diego) - what’s wrong with county music?
We will give you a pass for that comment 😉
Meat and potato kid
He looks doughy and a little clumsy to me. Will see, hope he does well.
Max is going to eat this kid alive!..
Yeah right, barely did anything against Trey pipkins and this guy is 5x the tackle pipkins is
